Capcom's Seth Killian and Christian Svensson both chimed in on a few different topics concerning Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the Unity Boards. Will there be a Tatsunoko vs. Capcom strategy guide book?
Seth: Though I wish there was, there isn't anything like this coming at the moment.
I'll see what I CAN do, however, and the other thing we will have coming is some actually pretty good video tutorials we'll post on the tatsunoko.vscapcom.com site.
Where's the marketing for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars? I haven't seen a lot of stuff yet.
Seth: TvC is definitely getting a big push, though the bulk of marketing stuff doesn't usually hit until right before launch (it's proven most effective right around when you actually have a product people can buy). Stay tuned over the next few weeks and you'll probably see a lot more, but remember that just because you personally haven't seen an ad doesn't mean there isn't one.
With the TvC FightStick, will it do the following: Play analog stick based fighting games? Play other Wii games that use the D-pad? Outperform the Hori Fighting Stick?
Sven: Yes to all of the above.
How does the Wii Mad Catz stick work as a analog stick? It has been awhile since I bought Arcade-esque stuff.
Sven: It's still digital, not analog in it's approach (effectively 100% in a pure direction for the analog stick), but there's a switch in the control module (where the turbos live) that will set the input to map to the "left analog", "d-pad" or "right analog".
It's the same as the X360 and PS3 fight sticks in that regard as well.
Are there any plans for a TvC FightPad to go along with the FightStick?
Sven: No plans for a pad for TvC. Fight Stick only is where we're going with this one.
