dont tell me you can supercancel out of an overhead you just had eaten? YOU'RE in hitstun, you cant just mash ur super and it comes out, that would screw up the whole idea of "combo"

Well Bison combo on Rose looks fake enough thou at the same time it could be a glitch

fake or not at least he show some Sakura combos i didn't know she can combo her LP Shoryuken with Sakura Otoshi thats very good instead of just juggling with another MP Shoryuken

now instead of using Damage Scaling that reduces the damage depending on the hit count in a combo why don't Capcom take that useless thing out and reduce damage for every move mostly the ultra's just the right % off so when you do a big combo it won't do great damage but still pays off because it'll do more damage then single hits and small combos that way the newbies won't get kill to fast by a single combo and the veteran player still be satisfy that the big combos he/she learn and train for pays off

Dan's super taunt uses the same idea to do the gen change stance glitch. Only changing stance and taunting have priority input over the focus attack, so they can be used to cancel out of it. Ultra accordingly...

It's not fake.

The Bison one is the least likely to actually take place, but it works; he got knocked out of the Ultra by the Soul Spark Rose had fired earlier, and as the Ultra animation completed he hit her with his Super.

its def not fake. for all u simple minds, dan canceled his focus into super. like #14 said the only reason it worked is because its a super TAUNT which has priority over focus. and u should already kno dan can cancel his super taunt into ultra. so thats that. as far as bison.. i guess u can say its a glitch(??) but if he's hit out of his ultra (after it connects)with a fireball the animation will continue as if he'd kept going like u saw with akuma (0:43)and rose (0:57)

@ 21 it happened to me once i comboed into sagat's ultra in the corner and the last uppercut of the ultra didnt come out.. the opponent just fell after the first.. this guy just did super after the ultra stopped.

Hello guys, i tried too edit some stuff with the character select screen for super street fighter 4, as you can see the first two pictures are real, used brightness modifier and used some photoshop effects which made it look like its the rumoured characters, look for yourself :)

Its definately going to be Dudley-Makoto-Ibuki as you can see.

This is not faked.

The only one that really surprised me was Sagat cancelling Ultra into Super.

Bison vs Rose can be reproduced with Akuma's air fireball as well.

Combo 1: Magical use of Hundred Hands.

Combo 2: Gen uses Kara-Focus with Stance Change into Super into Ultra

Combo 3: Due to hitbox shenanigans in the corner, Sagat only runs through what would normally be the whiff/block animation of Tiger Destruction. An obvious glitch, but it allows him time to combo into Super.

Combo 4: The setup for this combo has Rose following a full-screen FADC'd Soul Spark. Ryu performs the Metsu, then immediately gets hit out of recovery by the Spark. He then goes into another combo.

Combo 5: Dan uses Kara-Focus Legendary Taunt xx Ultra. The first hit of the overhead is absorbed by the Focus, the following hit is avoided by the invincibility frames of the Legendary Taunt, which is then canceled into Ultra.

Combo 6: Run-Stop-Fierce. Daipan Loop. This is delicious!

Combo 7: It looks like under very specific circumstances, Bison's j.MP instantly resets Akuma in some bizarre programming oversight. Akuma then punishes with Raging Demon.

Combo 8: I'm not a Chun player, but it looks like Blanka's low hitbox allows Chun to travel further "into" Blanka with SBK, allowing her to combo into another cr.LP xx SBKs. Likely an infinite loop like the one on Dhalsim.

Combo 9: Bison gets knocked out of his Ultra animation by Soul Spark. Shenanigans ensue as Rose completes the hit animation of Nightmare Booster while Bison charges a gratuitous Dash > Super.

Combo 10: Crispy character-specific links by Ryu.

Combo 11: Just enough range for Ken to link a cr.LK off of a Hadouken. Likely only possible if the Hadouken leaves you at max cr.LK range, otherwise the Hadouken would hit and dissipate too quickly.

Combo 12: Crispy links by Bison.

Combo 13: Sakura's s.MK barely pushes the opponent away at all. Awesome links off of her repeated LK.Tatsu allow her to combo her opponent nigh-infinitely. I do believe those are all 1-framers off of Tatsu.

OH! I did it i combo EX Hurricane Kick-LP Shoryuken-MP Sakura Otoshi
the important thing is that you use MP Sakura Otoshi if you use LP i'll miss unless you corner the opponent also the opponent have to be hit by the LP Shoryuken high in the air it could be either after EX Hurricane Kick or a jumping opponent

Hes obviously using infinite bar, so you're not being insightful by saying that. Other than that its just neat (if unpractical (and impossible in a real match)) stuff that SF4's combo system allows.

@#43: None of these combos use more than 4 bars of EX meter. Some of these are more than feasible in a real match, albeit situational (Like Fuerte's no-meter dizzy on Dhalsim).

Obviously, some of them are just plain ridiculous and would require two players actively cooperating (Like chasing a Soul Spark across the screen). Still, all are possible in a standard-rules match.

Why are people calling these combo's fake. You think the guy hacked the game and changed the game mechanics or something? I don't get it. Most of what happened in these videos are self-explanatory. There are some things in the video like the akuma magically teleporting below Bison that seems quirky but are obvious glitches. The video is real, the combo's are real, the game seems to be real. Wtf is fake about it?

@jerkface: Just do any Ultra juggle on Rose in the corner. Easiest is after an anti-air f.HK or f.HK juggle. If Rose is at the right height, it's easy to replicate what you saw in the video.

I understand that but me as a Sakura player still be affected by the damage scaling anyway even if its a simple combo most of Sakura's combos are very easily above 5 hits and when you juggle to set up her Ultra it does little damage thanks to this damage system

I have to agree with 44 on this. For the most part he is right.

Here is the copy-paste from the same webpage that you left out from your copy-paste.

Moves like E. Honda's Hundred Hand Slap count as one move even if they hit multiple times.
Attacks like Chun Li's Jumping Hard Punch that hit twice count as two moves. The rule of thumb is that if a move requires an extra player input to hit with it, it's going to count as a second attack.

So that would special moves count as 1 hit. The only instance where a move can count as 2 hits or more as opposed to 1 that I can think of is target combo's and well as focus attacks and Ultras that count as 2 hits.

i tried the sagat one it works but i think only on rose, all u gotta do is juggle rose after at least 1 high step kick and ultra into the corner, has to be the corner, then after the 1st uppercut in ultra push any button and it will cancel the final hit

@ricefarmer: Fireball FADC is definitely not useless. You use it to bait a fireball punish from the opponent. Akuma uses it to put up some godlike pressure, and all of Dan's combo game revolves around Focus Canceled Gadoukens.

High damage scaling is currently one of those necessary evils. It's a hamfisted way to tone down any Infinite and Sure-kill combos from cropping up, but it works.

Yes, seems like Combo 13 all require 1 or 2 frames to connect. On bigger characters like Rufus and Zangief, this combo will complete the standing light kick into EX shoryuken. On regular size characters like Ryu and Bison, the combo must juggle after crouching heavy punch.

The EX Shoryuken Cancel into Standing heavy punch is super strict on timing, I would like to work on it more. I wonder if this guy does it on stick... I can do it on pad.

I'm not sure either, but I know sometimes his ultra won't finish depending how far out your opponent is in the air. That there is no shenanigans. My friend has done it before but not in the corner, the Ultra just ended after the first tiger uppercut.

Because the idea of this combo video being fake is absurd. How would you fake a combo video? Especially when the hit number is displayed on the side. Unless your suggesting that not only did someone hack and modify the game but they had the skills to only change certain game mechanics without corrupting the rest of the game in any other way. Meanwhile everyone else is struggling to even get the hit-boxes displayed.

If someone went through the effort to fake a combo video, I don't think these combos would be the result.

First off, how would you even fake the video? Splice together video of the start of one combo with the end of another and make the transition seemless? Character animations would have to match up, the flames on the ultra meters, etc. I don't even think a fake combo video exists anywhere that the authors tried to pass off as real.

Second, I think if you went through the effort to fake something, combos like these wouldn't be the result. If I had the skills to make some crap up, it would be something insane like a Bison or Ken Super to Ultra juggle or, dare I say it, an Akuma combo into Ultra(yes, excluding crumple and dizzy).

This video is not fake as I have done the Sagat thing and Ryu thing be4 and I know you can do Sakura's combo like that aswell as Honda's and Chun's but, I have never seen the M. Bison reset before. The reason why Sagat can reset into Ultra is because he was far away after the first 2 round house kicks and it's in the corner on Rose. It's weird like that, how some Ultra's only will hit fully on some. For example Sagat juggling Sagat in the Corner will cause him to miss the last part of his Ultra in the corner. Also if you go into training mode Akuma's Ex hurricane will toss the character out of the corner will if your in the other corner it will keep them there (Only on certain characters).
