Tokido added a few more notes about Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition on his blog, plus included a very defensive match, along with some random thoughts about various movies and such. Here's a rundown of the relevant stuff.
• He thinks T. Hawk is not a strong character in AE.
• Dhalsim has no future against Yun. Likely means he feels this will be a bad match for Dhalsim.
• Juri is so-so. If the opponent doesn't know the match up, Juri can win easily, but...
• Feels that Hakan is Akuma's easiest match up, and C. Viper is his worst.
• Cammy is good, but not top tier in Tokido's opinion.
• Right now, Daigo or Mago are the best SSF4 AE players.
• Someone by the name of Salt left a cutting remark about Japan getting beatdown when they come to the US to play Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at Final Round Arcade. Tokido responded that he'd remember this guy's name and money match him in March.
Tip from Toshi-kun.
Lol that guy was a big troll. His name was SALT come on
Heh, I always thought Akuma was one of Hakan's easier matchups. Ultra 2 pretty much shuts down the vortex when things get too hot.
I watched a movie, she had a pink wig, forgot the name, but damn, she was so hot....
oh man cant wait for Tokido to beast this guy.
If Tokido's right about D'ism's match up against Yun, good luck learning another character F'Champ.
I have yet to see Champ use an alt in any tourneys. We all saw him use Seth in Excellent adventures. It doesn't mean crap. He wasn't really that good with him, at least not as good as online tony's. If you're not good as OnlineTony's you're not going to get far in major tourneys.

The movie you are thinking of is 2004's Closer. I watched Black Swan 2 weeks ago, great film. A little bit of a mind trip but if you can figure out whats going on, you will have fun figuring it out. Oh, and if you get hung up on the lesbian screen whether it's not appropriate or not enough sex, then you are missing the entire point. Go watch a porno or something if you hot and heavy.
I bet SALT didn't realise his little message would reach Tokido and that he would respond to it lol. I hope he gets exposed.
Great, I hope Salt can back up his goof, because it won't be pleasant if he can't at least put up a decent fight. Depending on who he uses in SSFIV should have determined how serious Tokido should take him, but that was not given in this situation, hopefully it isn't Dan, us Dan users are a proud, clean people, we don't usually challenge others so cockily despite our character's gift of gab.
SALT, get your A GAME on, cuz you are reppin the ENTIRE U.S. of A. NOW!
wait is Tokido going to MM him in SSF4 or MvC3?
@26
sweeet,, this will show how fast Japan is at adapting to any fighting games (or it will show that Salt is a troll and sucks at MvC games lol). thnx btw
@32 darko_86
On consoles,supposedly on June 2011 as mentioned by an arcade operator in the U.S. Can't quite remember his name though. Team Spooky was streaming AE in the said operator's venue on the evening of Dec. 24th if I remember correctly when he "leaked" the info. out.
#12 Even still, Seth got nerfed to hell so F.Champ won't be able to play him like he use to. This will be a real test for F.Champ to see if he's as good as they say if we get AE in time for EVO.
As for the Tokido and MvC3. I think the Japanese are starting to like MvC3 so Tokido will have more chances to train and play againts good people. If he gets as good as they say he will be a contender. The Salt guy is just a troll, don't waste your time with him Tokido he probably won't show.

All I want is Champ is to eat his own words when Daigo destroys him in AE. Calling someone free after beating someone him only several times when the fact, this player has beaten Champ numerous times before and never said a word.
No longer will daigo have to worry about a dhalsim looming over his head teabagging his ryu.
Poor thawk will never see the light, kinda sad seeing how his personally is portrayed lolol.
And juri is gonna be the new adon? as in no one knowing the match up then end up cleaning house.
This in, the identity of SALT has been revealed. It's J.Wong o.O
Well... Probably.
Perhaps if U.S. players would stop running around like wittle "fanboys", exclaiming how much better the japanese players are, emulating them and thinking their arcade equipment is superior, then perhaps they might "man-up", develop balls enough and actually start playing like they mean it. "Attitude is everything", so they say...
When the best the U.S. can offer is a fat slob who peddles his talents online to scrubs and begs for money to be sent to Evo, then it is no wonder, its frame of mind is the way it is...
I'd like to see this SALT fellow actually play and win this theoretical bet as well. Though, reality dictates an entirely different story.
T. Hawk has always been a weak character. While the buffs in Super are great for him, it's still not enough to get him anywhere near top tier, the people who think that don't know much about him. He'll be better in AE of course, and as a Hawk mainer I'm glad he got the buffs, but it's not going to make his bad match ups a walk in the park.
(I'm not trying to say Hawk sucks or he has no good match ups, he doesn't/does, but he's not God-tier now like some people are trying to whine about)
Salt sounds like a troll.
It'll be somewhat awesome if someone named SALT or the actual guy then defeats Tokido and co in MvC 3.
What are all you guys complaining for¿ Just let it slide.
@ 49
Yup, guess he lied. Capcom probably let all the Japanese pros like him, Tokido, Mago, and Kindevu play AE before it even came out. Probably just let them into their company and try it whenever they want.
I don't know why he said it like a week before the game came out though.
@ 51
Lol that's what I thought. Tokido is my favorite SFIV player, but let's be honest, America is way ahead in Marvel. I don't know if that playstyle of what America likes or what but, it would be interesting to see some Japanese pros actually try the game.
Hopefully, having Daigo and Tokido actually try in Marvel will increase the appeal for it in Japan.
I think it was Saltford Saltrax Kelly, so Tokido... you better step your game up soon man xD
@55
comment of the year. congratulations you win my respect!
lol funniest comment ever
@ 55
If it was him. I don't think Tokido is gonna win. At least not the next EVO.
Considering that Seth got more life/stun. And he lost his neutral/backwards jump HP. The only person in the world who is screaming for joy is Poongko.
Lol, Poongko is gonna own. He already doesn't give a damn about running away.
Wait a minute... how is there pre-MvC3 trash talk when the game isn't out yet? Lol. In any case, I hope this money match, wherever it is, is streamed for all of us. :-D

That guy is gonna get wrecked by Tokido
