@2 yeah i think he said he faced a very high skilled Guy player there too (who he said was better than kiryu!?), and he cant wait to go back next year (that is if the interview im thinking of was referring to his trip to kuwait). Also, it was really sick when he did the final strum of the ken theme, lol.
@4 Yeah you're thinking of the right interview. As a Guy player myself, it was interesting to hear he found a player of that level in that corner of the world. Who would have known? Although, on a side note, I think alot of people praise Kiryu Tsukimiya too much! I heard alot of talk about him so watched alot of videos with him on YouTube. He's not bad, but I find his overall strategy to not be very high level. He doesn't always go for maximum damage, often burns meter unnecessarily, etc. I'm not saying he's a scrub, but there are better rounded Guy players out there in the ether.
Unfortunately in Kuwait it's always a sausage-fest especially with SF & Guitars.

The best guy player that Daigo was referring to is Nox2. I dunno if hes the best, but check him out on youtube, guys a beast. Also Daigo at one point stated that he had a 90% win rate against Kiryu.

In my opinion there is no better player out there than Daigo himself. He is very calm and collected winning or losing. During battle and outside the Street Fighter world. Unlike U.S players so loud without manners like jumping monkeys everytime they win. But Daigo deserves this ear songs at front road. Nobody can beat that. Period!
