A redone version of Jin Saotome's MVC 1 theme was playing in the background of the video.
And Nitsuma was eating 12 doughnuts, so put 2 and 2 together, I'll go out on a limb snd say that he'll be revealed alongside another Marvel Character on Janurary 4th.

i replayed the video a few times i still dont hear Jin theme from mvc1. even tried to play both of them side by side. If that is meant to be his theme remixed ill feel ashamed for capcom more so than i already am.

It's a take on the "12 days of Christmas" song I think. Merry Christmas everyone!
The theme playing is really similar to Jin's, but if he was hinting at the character Twelve from 3rd Strike, I think he'd be not included for the same reason as Venom, with all the transformations and what not.
So, possible ideas:
1. Jin's theme for Jin (I listened to them back to back, they do sound REALLY similar, POSSIBLY Twelve as well, but I doubt it.
2. 12 days till a big reveal.
3. 12 characters planned for DLC past the 6 rumored remainders.
4. Actually 12 characters left on disc?!
5. Is there some character from Marvel/Capcom who REALLY likes doughnuts or something that we aren't catching?
6. Total troll video.

Catalyst, you might want to check the tip submission form for bugs. A LOT of people are forced to use the comments form like I was for whatever reason. Does it use a different login system or something? I haven't registered to post on the message boards, could that be it? Also when you go to the tip submission page it says I'm not logged in.

That is NOT Jin's theme. It sounds nothing like it, and they've used a version of this exact theme in prior trailers, so you all should just relax and enjoy it for what it is; a little Christmas message.

And how do you know their is only 6? because some random shmuck on the internet said so? Capcom hasn't said what's the final number, so 12 more is likely. Also, even the leaker admitted there might be some characters he didn't know about.
So yeah, don't be too sure it's just 6 chico. It could be 12 for all we know.
