Remember not too long ago when they showed Dhalsim fighting a unknown character? I wonder if they are gonna release any new fighters. The twins are nice, but not exactly what I was hoping for:(
Glad to see some more good Yang gameplay clips. Theres too much focus on Yun ATM.
I always liked Yang better than Yun. If consoles get him (probably will) then he may be a new main for me. Seth seems to have been hit pretty badly by the jb.HP being taken away, and the new health/stun isn't enough to compensate... Although, at least Gief can't one-hit stun anymore. That was BS of the highest order. I want to see Dee Jay's dash into U2 being performed since they said it should be easier now. I may go back to him in AE.
How would someone know if he was top tier or not...
Looks like the third hit of his slash is atleast -5 on block
now everybody's maining Yang because they always like him better than Yang...lol
@ Diamondis:
This is the only vid of Yang we've seen, and he combo'd from 2 hits. Scaling starts after 3 and Ryu's life was over 50%. I wouldn't crown his Super (Seiei Enbu?) just yet.
Most Yuns Super from TC (insane scaling right there, it's about 5 diff button presses/hits no?), and all the Yuns (at least the ones I've seen) have never tried to reset the juggle state that his Super allows (can you even do that?). Nemo did it at least once in that vid.
Just some things to consider. You may or may not already know though.
@Phoenixrising77
I thought it was confirmed that he was only burning Chun-Li? Or so I heard from a friend.

It's true that the the scale was minimal due to being activated after the second hit, and the palm special does mucho damage. But activating the super added a solid 30% damage, and he had enough time to reset(plus that last low MK could be canceled to Mantis Slash, he probably thought he had enough time to throw another LK while it was still i effect).
Now that Seiei Enbu can also be canceled and chain like Genei Jin, it will be a very viable choice(you could not do this in 3S)
Lemme guess
Genei Jin: TargetC--special move--super--juggling and don't let them go, and if they happen to drop and not tech the knockdown then good luck with with the 4-6 seconds you have left. Damage scaling also hurts.
Seiei Enbu: TargetC--super--dive kick/cross up--TargetC--Ultra1.
That's just my prediction but idk
yun, yang and fei are said to be the strongest in AE. all three tenshin users lol
These twins are gunna have no trouble against Zangeif.
Just dont get hit alot, u can basically dance around Geif, hes slow, so mind games are much easier.
Just dont fear Gief or you will get thrown alot.
Man is it just me or am I the only one who can't wait for this to come to console does anyone have an idea when it's coming to console??
for those of you who are lucky to read my comment well...here you go.
SSFIV AE will be downloaded and will cost like $10 or $15 bucks and here is how it will work.
If you choose to buy it, it will be added on to your game and at the main menu you can choose to play SSFIV or SSFIV AE. (just like SFIII third strike Double impact sorry I dont remember the correct naming of it if thats not it haha) anyway this is why capcom is having a hard time deciding on how to release AE. they dont want to give it out for free for they will be losing money on their part. its all about the benjamins baby.
If your hoping AE to come out for free you are dead wrong my fellow Street Fighters.
@38 yo thanks for the links dude! And btw where did spooky get the info. from? coz 6 mos away for ae console release seems too long a wait for me. :(
Idk if he is telling the truth. but 6 months seems feasible. Capcom wouldn't go through hell to release AE then put it up as DLC almost as soon as AE was released. Capcom would like AE to have some sort of exclusivity to get ppl to play it in the arcades.
@ Catalystbannedmeagainthegay-
Get a life ! LOL.... Seriously. Pretty sad when we live in the year 2010-2011 and we STILL have ignorant people like you who put that much emphasis on somebodys sexuality. Grow up bud. How about maybe going out and getting some sun? I'm sure when you read this you will probably have some foul mouthed retort, so I will just leave it at that. I will let you look like an idiot all on your own.
@ 19 -
Was it confirmed? Or did I miss it? Hmmmm, as far as I knew, I had not heard anything about the "mystery" character. Either way...... It seems feasible that the new characters for DLC would be released in June. I am NOT saying that they will..... But I could see that happening. It would give them time to milk the arcades while hyping up the rest of the cast..
I still think Rufus is better if you're planning on playing a dive kick character. Higher stamina, higher damage, easy to combo into ultra, lots of ways to combo into ultra 1, ultra 2 a good option for projectile and jumping characters, good wake up option in messiah kick, above average throw damage, can cover more ground on the feet with his roll move without burning a ex like Yun has to. Sure there are negatives about Rufus when comparing him to other dive kick characters but, I still think the positives outweigh (pun intended) the other characters.
Remember when Dudley was supposed to be a godly, unbeatable s-tier? Or when everyone cried and threw a bitchfit about Deejay having an EX that crumpled (despite that seeming totally reasonable at this point)?
Everyone needs to take a step back and stop assuming theses characters are top tier or even good based off a couple of well known players assumptions.
Every single assessment is theorycraft at this point and means less than dirt.
25cents for ssfiv:a? WOW man! That's some old school arcade price right there! I wonder if that arcade is gonna make profit though. But that is the best price in town hands down!
Finally get to see his Super used and a combo performed. This makes me wonder if his is better than Yun's Super, damage-scaling wise. All he was using was mostly simple normals and took 50% life. Yun, on the other hand, seems to get hit pretty badly by damage-scaling because of the number of inputs.
