An achievement listing for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 over on Xbox360achievements.org implies there may be a third Darkstalkers representative in the game.

According to a ton of rumored character listings, Hsien Ko is a potential candidate for this spot.
Other people have mentioned achievements like the "Fate of the Satsui no Hadou" implies Akuma, "Copy This!" hints at Taskmaster and/or Spider-Woman and "Mega Buster" for Mega Man.

Many things that were listed in the achievements for this game signal some serious clues. All I know is that Mega Man will be there hands down.
yeah the achievements name is "darkstalkers", but it does not say to assemble 3 darkstalker's characters, just assemble a team of " those who dwell in the darkness " , dormammu maybe is in or shuma or morrigan ...
And about the " Satsui no Hadou " it's prolly linked to akuma / evil ryu but it also about the "evil intent".

This one also is interesting since of now the 2 females that can fly are Morrigan and Trish who could be the 3rd?.

I highly doubt there will be another Darkstalker, because Niisuma clearly stated that there won't be anymore.
I wouldn't assume those achievements mean anything about characters. The one on the Darkstalkers sounds like it could be villains, it doesn't say make a team of Darkstalkers, but it says- "those who dwell in the dark." Hsien-Ko is not a Darkstalker just so you know, but a Darkhunter, she hunts Darkstalkers.If those were references to characters that could mean these guys are in as well: Professor X (Charles in charge), Bishop (Back at cha'), Havok (wreck Havok), Hercules (Herculean Task). Unless it was a bit more more specific like Weapon X achievement you have Wolverine, X-23, and Deadpool, then characters are really hinted at... You also see Mega Buster, but that could mean Frank West.
Girls that can fly, I don't think Trish really flies, there's only 2 Storm and Morrigan, but that could mean any other girl like Ms. Marvel, Phoenix and etc.
Seems weird that the team achievements would only have 1 possible solution. I would assume they would encourage a few possible mixes even if it's only 4 options to fit into a team of 3.
I'm hoping Havok, Megaman, Taskmaster off this. I REALLY wanna se a redone Megaman with 8 robot abilities like he's never been done for some reason.

I think the "Copy This!" acheivement is, Spidey vs. Venom. The Venom symbiote likes to toy w/ Peter Parker in the comics and its powers are copied from him.
"Fate of the Satsui no Hadou": I imagine this is Ryu vs. Akuma. However, it does say something about, "...true master of the fist." It could be Ryu vs. Iron Fist and the, "Satsui no Hadou" thing is just a reference for those familiar with Ryu.
Alright, I'm going to state a fact now, and remember, this is NOT speculation, this is FACT.
The rest of the Marvel characters are Paste Pot Pete, Marrow and Bone Claw Wolverine.
All the others are Mario, Cloud, and Bonk. Bonk's a secret character, along with bone claw, and the main boss of the game is the Cyberdemon.
Remember, you heard this scoop from me, believe me, I know its fact because I say it is and I trust me!!
Capcom has mentioned that there would not anymore Darkstalkers added. HOWEVER, what is a likely scenario is that Hsien-Ko was already on the roster, when the question was asked. It's a very deceiving quote that you have to read a few times to see that there is high chance that a third DS character is in the roster, it's just a matter of time before she's confirmed.
Unless Niitsuma is playing games, they did say no additional Darkstalkers beyond Felicia and Morrigan. This one is more specific.
looks like mvc3 is going to have the PP system too.
seems like points will be easier to attain than in ssf4... due to the fact that one of the achievements is to earn 100,000pp
in regards to the female flyers achievement.. I can only count one female flyer that has been confirmed and that is storm. Not sure (and correct me if I'm wrong) that morrigan can actually fly in mvc3.
It's Hsien-ko, always has been. Anyone denying it or bringing up false disconfirmations are simply fooling themselves. It's been heavily hinted that Hsien-ko was making the cut. I'm not about to pull up links to prove my point because it's useless trying to convince people that don't want to be convinced, when it's written as plain as day for them. I'll just laugh at all the idiots and I count quite of a few of them who were so sure she wouldn't be in. I just hope you guys remember the none sense you spoke as you're watching Hsien-ko's reveal trailer.

I agree, I also heard that Hsien-Ko was low Tier,and one of the less liked Darkstalkers, but I could be wrong, because like I said I heard.
I know Donovan, and Pyron for sure are way more popular than Hsien-Ko. Hsien-Ko would be a good character to play, but will somehow I think, lose strong interest and become one of the least characters played. That just my opinion. Donovan or Pyron would of been better to give a shot at the title that if they planned on another Darkstalker character.
Who know's Hsien-Ko could be in, but maybe as a Cameo character appearing in some dialogue.
Akuma is A clone.
1.His teleport dont mean SH1t since it was always slow and everyone else teleports
2.his angled fireball isnt Sh1t because ryu aims his super
3.His divekick was always useless in the vs series

Trust me, no wants Hsien Ko more than I do, but there's really no evidence she's in the game. Rumored lists don't count, especially considering how many have been disproved time and time again.

I posted characters Earlier and the question was for characters spotted on the list, I'll post my ideas again, but I am no assuming these characters are in just ideas:
Professor X (Charles in charge), Bishop (Back at cha'), Havok (wreck Havok), Hercules (Herculean Task). Taskmaster (Copy That), Flying girl, could be Ms. Marvel, Phoenix or any popular female character that flies, ("Deux Ex Machina" means god out of the machine) could be Apocalypse, Sentinel,or some form of a related powerful Machine or device.

Well ever since seeing the latest silhouette that was posted here featuring the next two versus characters to be revealed...One of them really really looked like Hsien-Ko, and the other I thought looked a lot like Cable. I guess we will know for sure pretty soon though.
The MvC2(in my case)trophy list...makes implications of characters that are in the game....seems to me like theyve done the same thing with the MvC3 trophy list, as well.

Guys, neither Havok and definitely not Xavier were confirmed by this. There's been a few teams/series called X-Factor and one iteration featured Havok as the leader. The achievement is only making a reference for some comic fans to enjoy because of a gameplay mechanic that shares the name.
Charles Xavier was the leader of the X-Men for much of it's life and one of its comics is titled Uncanny X-Men. After a certain number of hits in a combo, you see the word "Uncanny!" flash across the screen. Again, another passing reference. It's about the same as "School for the Gifted."
Herculean Task is probably the same. "Beat Arcade mode on the hardest difficulty." The achievement makes it sound like it's intended to be a challenge, so just a shout-out because Herculean can just mean very difficult.
Morrigan CAN fly, btw. It's been shown in a few videos of the TGS build. Female Flyers doesn't tip us off to anything.
Some of the others are a bit more vague, so speculate away!

Capcom also said there are no clones (ie shotos), but this kind of leads to believe that Akuma is in it too. That kind of sucks.
It looks like PP will be easier to get in this game. One of the achievements say to get over 100,000.

Nice Achievement list. Here's are some of my speculations when it comes to the ones requiring team-ups:
Darkstalkers - Sounds like a 3rd Darkstalker is in. Not sure if it's Hsien-Ko but at this point, it's been all-but-proven...
Female Flyers - Storm is on point for this one. Since some of Morrigan has been depicted flying in many games, including the promo vids for this game, I'd consider her eligible. Her dashes and some of her moves also involve flight. Based on my (questionable) logic, That would also make Trish eligible, and maybe Viper if her rocket boots give her flight ability. What I'm hoping comes through however is that Jean Grey is in the mix, just as the rumors state, since she most definitely defies gravity. Here's hoping...
Fate of Two Worlds - I'm guessing these are the characters from the first promo vid, Ryu, Morrigan, Dante, Tony, Bruce & Wade. Probably wrong though.
Whose Side Are You On? - I don't know how far the rabbit hole goes on this one, but I'm certain the Cap'n has to be on "Team Anti-Registration" and Iron Man on "Pro-Registration". You may also have to have supporting members on those teams who were affiliated with them during the Marvel Civil war as well -
- Team Anti: Spider-man (regular costume), Wolverine, Storm,
- Team Pro: Spider-man (Iron-Spider costume, although this may not count), She-Hulk, Thor, Deadpool,

Badds to the Bone - Being that "Badds" is a reference to Commando/Bionic Commando, Nate is definitely a candidate. I'm not sure who would all qualify to comprise the team but I'd pick Wolvie (adamantium), Tony (body armor), Viper (various tools), Wesker (T-virus), Jill (Wesker's "enhancements"), Zero (all he does is beat robots for their weapons), Deadpool (I think, since he was part of Weapon X), Doom (Armor and mad weapons), Hulk (accidentally), Spidey (also accidentally), M.O.D.O.K. (lab rat), She-Hulk (one hell of a blood transfusion), Super-Skrull (maybe), X-23 (also maybe since she was "made" that way). That's probably waaaayyyy too many candidates for them all to be eligible for the achievement, but I'm sure a good chunk of them are legit.
Avengers Assemble - Captain America, Iron-Man & Thor. Not sure if you can sub Thor out for Hulk, but it's worth a try.
Duty & Deus Ex Machina - Easily The Cap & M.O.D.O.K. That beef is older than most of the posters here, including me.
Raccoon City Incident: Chris & Wesker, straight up. Add Jill to ramp-up the dramitas.
Copy This! - Have no idea, save for the fact it involves Spidey. Could this mean Taskmaster is in the game? I hope so...
Fate of Satsui no Hado - this could also hint to an Ryu vs. Akuma type scenario...

1: Niitsuma deconfirmed both shotos and more DS reps (unless he's trolling, which wouldn't surprise me)
2: If there is another DS rep, god give me Lord Raptor, honestly, an Australlian god of rock Zombie, why is he not popular compared to "OMGZ COOL VAMPIRES I LUV DEM LIKE I LUV TWILIGHT AND WEREWOLVES." type characters? Demetri won't be in cause I doubt Capcom would want to work on 3D models for Midnight Bliss, nor would Marvel want to see their characters cross gender'd. And as for Hesein Ko I honestly don't see why everybody loves her so much. Same with Jon, they're just not exciting to me. A Chinease Vampire and a werewolf, I may as well be watching a twilight anime.
3: I will honestly cancel my pre order if there's more Shotos in this. This is Marvel VS Capcom. Not Marvel VS 9503053045 Ryu clones.
And more shoto complain sfu already there was like 5 of em in mvc2 and no one complains if akuma is in it then choose another character there about 30+ characters in the game and ya gonna let 2 bother ya sftu already. I really think "Copy This" is referring to Spider-woman cause the icon has a female symbol on in.
Because MVC2 was just a big rushed game that was nothing but sprite recycles explaining all the clones in it. With the 3D models now its unexcusable. I'd rather see Capcom's resources go to characters that are more original gameplay wise than being similar to already revealed characters. I don't care if they're "popular" it's just a waste to basically waste RAM on 3D character models when there's already a character that practically plays the same. I won't be as angry if there is another Darkstalkers rep even if they're one of the aforementioned "boring" characters I mentioned. But seeing someone who plays similiar to an already revealed character be put in is just a waste on Capcom's end. But knowing how they serve their "fans" I wouldn't be surprised to see 493045387503753890 Shoto variations in. CAUSE GOD FORBID CAPCOM LEAVING OUT YOUR PRECIOUS RAGING DEMON OUT OF A GAME.

Compared to previous Marvel Vs., there are not as much shotos in this one. I won't play him, but if Akuma is in this, it isn't the end of the world. Hell, he helped to plant the seed for crossovers in the first place, cameo-ing as a secret character in X-Men: CotA.

And how exactly does J. Talbain even remotely resemble the "werewolves" in Twilight? And even though they're called "vampires" its clear that the creatures in Twilight share almost no characteristics with previous incarnations. Just because you can't get past this doesn't mean everyone else can't. I hope they're both in personally.
Although I would have preferred M. Bison to Akuma I can see why they included him. As the very first crossover character it would be wrong not to include him. I'm confident that Bison will be dlc at some point in the future so I figure there's no point in whining about it.

Trophies and Achievements are usually referencing other games 95% the time, so why is it that when this game references something it means "OOOH, Akuma's got to be in." or "Hsein-Ko's definitely in now." NO, IT DOESN'T. It means you get stuff for completing goals that they tell you to do. Stop thinking that the leaked list are correct.

What makes you think they aren't correct? Cause as of this point, it has been right about almost everything. There are some mistakes here and there but for the most part, they are spot on.
And who cares if people want to speculate about the characters. It builds hype. Don't come here and just bash people for having wants and expectations.
He was the first crossover character. It's fitting as an homage to that FACT. I'm not a fan of shoto headswaps myself and I certainly don't consider him the main antagonist of SF as a whole. Also I never claimed that I believe the leaks at this point. It just seems that Capcom would choose Akuma over Bison both for the reason stated above and because it's easier. And why are you so negative all the time mark_morrison?
Ok catalyst you might want to put this in the tips thing too that according the list there is only 320 missions for all the characters....... now also according to the screenshots of the missions page there are 10 missions for each character...
so the math is 320 divided by 10 and that come out to 32....
meaning that there will be 32 characters.... this is not counting the dlc i am guessing.... just throwing this info out there because i didnt see anyone else point it out

no problem. Like I said I would much prefer Bison on the initial roster. It's probably not gonna happen though. But I'm pretty sure that he'll be early dlc. From what I've seen he's one of the more requested characters along with Megaman.

Look, I don't want to decrease any hype you have for this game at all, I just don't want you guys to get sorely disappointed if something doesn't go accordingly. This games already looking very great with a very unique roster. So ya see I'm not trying to spread the hate, I'm just trying to tell you don't try and guess too much. I'm guilty of trying to guess the roster myself, in fact I think I have it and I'd love to give a link to my DA account where I have it posted up in a journal. There is a pattern to characters and reveals.
