Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Amaterasu character analysis

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Amaterasu character analysis A character analysis for Amaterasu in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has been posted by Sumoslamman. It offers an overview of her normals, special moves and hypers, plus a few general tips on what to expect from this fighter.

Here's a clip.

She slices, she dices, she creates, and she destroys, she’s the golden wolf goddess Amaterasu! I think Ammy is probably the most unusual addition to the MVC3 roster, bar none. Way to think outside the box Capcom!

First impressions: Mad dangerous and crazy annoying. Her hitbox is tiny, she has an entire screen hyper, a slow down hyper that enhances her combo options, deceptive range, a whole slew of normals, and solid OTG options.

Yeah, Ammy player are going to have a lot to work with.

OKAMI was an amazing Zelda clone. A zelda clone right down to the first boss being a giant spider and having a vine that worked like the hookshot. But Zelda clones are never actually bad, especially when they're this good and unique in other ways.

Definitely using Ammy on my team

Ammy seems so awesome. She has tools for everything. Can combo into level three. Has three different weapons, and the range on her elements super is ridiculous.

small hit box, fast, good normals, and decent options

Why does she smells like top tier to me ?

She looks fun as hell, her only downside being she can't take a hit at all.

How about everyone is GodTier? In a Capcom game? Yeah RIGHT!!!

srsly she has low defense and low attack and all of the specials said are not as fast as the real thing like the DeadPool comparison.

remember people said Dudley would be GOD tier b4 SSF4 and now...yeah JUST PLAY THE DAMN GAME!!!

The characters I think I'll like rarely end up being the ones I actually use.

She certainly seems like a good choice now, but who knows? May not fit your style when you actually get your hands on her.

Mine was @ Kara

She would be great but having do hit down twice and a button to change weapons is gonna make her reallllyyy tricky to use, I don't think she will be popular. Kinda like megaman in tvc, capable of being great but the play style with the stances will require a bit of a learning curve. (really wish they would change the input for stance switching)

yea if anything, they should have given Chris Redfield the stance switching option, switching weapons as if he was cycling through his inventory. Hahaha

So many awesome characters it's overwhelming. Why can't we have teams of 6 instead of 3!

to be honest, it looks like nearly everyone in this game (bar Thor and a couple others we haven't seen too much of I'm sure) can do ridiculous amounts of damage. One character can't be overpowered...if everyone is overpowered? =_='
