Unfortunately, Strider was disconfirmed from Marvel vs. Capcom 3, so he won't be making an appearance as a playable character in the upcoming game.
Man Strider has to been in MvC3... I mean come on hes in MvC1 and 2...

How can Capcom not include him? he was the best on MVC and the strongest from Capcom side on MVC2
He is the coolest character ever but no we can't have him because they can't figure out a way to fit him in but they can do it for a freaking big headed aline with small feet thats a good one

No im not smoking it's just an observation considering that on tournaments where they only use top tier characters to get the a win Strider is the only character from Capcom side that it is use as the primary combatant not for the assist rather for the Ouroboros hyper everyone else from Capcom side on MVC2 is use only because of their anti-air assist like Commando and Cammy everyone else they use is straight from Marvel side

@ #20: Strider was top tier in MvC and so was Wolverine, but that's not the point. The point is Strider has been one of, if not, the best Capcom character in the MvC series. Strider was viable as a point character in MvC2 (as long as he had Doom).
The other Capcom characters didn't even have a chance. Strider being disconfirmed sucked ass because of some of the lame characters that DID make it in. Felicia is the first that comes to mind. She's an unbelievable waste of space. They should have gone with BB Hood.
UNconfirmed IS a word though. Confirmation is a binary state: it is or it isn't.
In the fighting game scene there's context for this word and we understand its meaning but the actual construction of the word is faulty.
So yeah, deconfirmed is not a real word but I don't think it's going to stop anyone from using it. Myself included I guess but I almost never use it.
You guys do realize that what Capcom said about a character "fitting" into the game is a load of bs right? They said it just because of pr (public relations). They couldn't just say something like, "oh we just didn't want him in." It's all just a cop-out excuse so they don't have to explain themselves.
But because of all this outcry about Strider, I would think that he will be a DLC sooner or later. I know I want him in.

I still don't get why people don't get that Capcom will put EVERY single character on DLC to make some money. One again: You will see EVERY shhitty character EVER seen in ANY fighting game incl. their mothers into MvC3 and even into SSF4. Just mention it somewhere on a noname forum and it will be in.
After months and months of teasing and hyping they'll reveal the characters that everyone expexted to already be in the vanilla version but - dumb as we are - everyone will still be like WHOOOAAAA THAAAANKS!
