Here's a quick rundown of what you can expect, as Filipino Champ, Ricky Ortiz and John Choi join in on the trolling.
In this extended episode, Filipino Champ makes things interesting by bringing out Seth against a feisty Hakan, then putting his own unique twist on the ONE BUTTON CHALLENGE! Ricky gives us a look at his Cammy in a rematch with someone from the last episode! And Mike Ross brings out his famed E. HONDA for the FIRST TIME EVER on Excellent Adventures, and does so with an ALL OCHIO CHALLENGE! Will saltiness ensue?? (Yes.)
I saw SHINlionsblood. He has some edited E honda vids on his youtube
I couldn't watch it to the end. Complete garbage.
How is watching someone jump around spamming fierce entertaining?
That small clip of j Wong playing gouken against vega was ten times better than this constant stream of trash.
And what's with the one take?? Can't they shoot one episode with f.champ and then edit the footage?
I think they should take away the trolling aspect of this away. I liked it better when they played with their mains and tried to beat folks online.
Maybe It's his voice, maybe it's his overall small-ness, or maybe it's his inability to fight off the douche within. whatever it is this guy (Pchamp) ain't even salty-funny. he's just so unwatchable. And why is it cool for him to drop the n-bomb? is it cause he's gay?
@ #10
I thought I was the only person who thought he was gay lol
at xShonuffx,
I agree wit ya, it aint that serious. But what entertaining value has he brought the show? Im on youtube tryin' to figure out what an "Arturo" is cause of how often he mentions him!
(I found out btw! LOL an it's a valid term!)
It's just that the show was crazy new sick an funny as hell BEFORE they brought in these arrogant elitists. And i think Goo an Mike are money.
But you're right, I don't have to watch it.
lol. So Mike Ross is a noob. Hope he gets back at weatherman next time.
FChamp is the best player in the world right now. Its hilarious when he talks smack AND HE CAN BACK IT UP! STOP HATING.
I don't think that this episode was as bad as everyone is making it. I thought it was entertaining. A bunch a people you all idolize for their playing ability goofing around. I think that's as far as it goes and that is pretty funny, especially when including all the mishaps
Gets old hearing about online scrubs, lag etc... Most of us play online and are not tourney players... I bought this game without knowing who Mike Ross, PChamp and the others are and I will continue to play and not give two sh!ts who these guys are. it was entertaining last season when it had more of a fun theme. Without us 'online scrub' these asses wouldn't be as popular - Kudos to putting down your community over and over gentlemen
Another entertaining episode, nice.
...And as a fellow PSN user I apologize for the random "you're a noob" message. I hope the sender accepts your challenge, and can't wait to see the next round.
Filipino Champ doesn't really fit what the series was, and I think that's what the problem is. He's just kind of a punk, crude and profane for no real reason, and that works for him in the tournament scene, sure, but it's not fun to watch. He's not... silly in a family friendly way. Gootecks and Mike Ross are goofy, and he just... isn't, so much. It looks like all of these episodes were filmed in one session, though, so maybe they'll be in a different house in the next one. I hope they do another episode with Gootecks and Mike Ross, though, because those were probably my favorites. The Combofiend episode was pretty good, and the Justin Wong/Gamerbee episodes were amazing, but... I don't know. They need to find the right group of guests. These three aren't the ideal bros for the show. Maybe John Choi, but not the other two.
More guest variety would be good, I think. If it wasn't three in a row with Filipino Champ, I wouldn't be complaining about him. Like, they could do these three one day, and then go out and hang around with Justin Wong, and then do a solo episode, and then meet up with Combofiend or something. Just less... less Filipino champ three times in a row would be great.
Also, hoping for an Alex Valle episode.
I like them talking crap about stuff that will happen in the future like the EVO tourney that P Champ lost. I'd love to get his reactions on that. And the Cheating aspect was Hilarious. We all know that when "The Ross" Gets serious to that nooby Hakan, there WILL be excpected silence. No point in caring.
@ 26
We will :P
@ 20 fine i see where ur coming from, but i think theres nothing wrong with this, its all in the spirit of fun. besides their playing on ranked anyways, where all the shenanigans take place, endless is where everyone should be going to up their game, ranked is full of shenanigans where online tactics/shenanigans rule.
@12: actually they kinda did.
yo shout outs to my friend who made it onto this ep. not gonna put him on blast by saying his alias tho haha
@28. I see your point as well and I know their fun and comments are meant in good fun but just take it down a notch and try not to act so superior is all I'm saying. We all can't be tourney pros but having them talk down to what I consider fun is a little classless. I enjoy Mike Ross and Gootecks most of the time as they seem like genuinely good guys but the insults get old from PChamp and that other dude with the shades.
I doubt Pchamp would be so arrogant if he was face to face with the people he has insulted over the past couple of episodes and if he did actually say this sh!t face to face, he deserves to catch a smack -
There is no question that all of those guys are great players. But, I just cannot stand F.Champ due to his obnoxiousness. It is one thing to know that you are good, but I cannot stand people who think that they are better than everyone else. Regardless of whatever it is that makes them think that way, whether it be a game or personal achievements. It is one thing to be proud, but to be boastful is just sad. I personally do not care to ever be the best @ SF and I know I never will be. But I think it is just really sad when someone prides themselves that much on a video game when it IS just a video game. Be proud that you become a doctor, or finish school. But to be that obnoxious over a game is just ridiculous. It speaks for his character as a human being. I am sure he may have some friends ........ somewhere. I personally like Justin Wong much more. He is humble, and respectful (from what I have seen) and I would much rather see more from him than F.Champ. More Justin Wong please.
#20 and #35 pretty much win this posting section.
It is one thing to be proud of achieving something real like a doctor's license or something else of significance, but the way these kids gas themselves up over a video game makes me sad for humanity.
At the end of the day it is just a videogame, and to the x tournament player dicksucking groupies, no I didn't bother watching the video. I like to keep my mouth balls-free.
The show was really entertaining at first. but I thik they need to start going with some quality over quantity .
and yeah I think its kinda lame when your a tourmanment player to just be making fun of dudes who play online for fun when they can . yeah its about having a laugh but i think this episode crosses a line and becomes a bit of douch bag material . Its only Street fighter dude
Mike u complain about Honda's Damage being nerfed?
Your Headbutt is still 100% SAFE on block and your sumo slam is barely punishable as it is.
Blanka's ball actually had recovery on it but it was nerfed more in AE and El Fuerte a character that barely gets wins now is FORCED to play a whole new way because they gave El Fuerte recovery and negated invincibility on ALL of his main specials!
People getting defensive over videos they didn't watch? Guys, it's not about the competitive aspect...they are comedy videos. Watch them to see pro players do silly things, lose sometimes, overreact, get funny messages online, and generally mock the foibles of online play.
I would think people who don't like Filipino Champ would love this video, in which he claims to be able to beat a guy using only one button, starts losing, decides to cheat and use more buttons, then loses anyway. :D
@ Alkipot - Thank You
@irrenmann -
Though I can see your point and respect it, I would have to disagree. At least on one thing. I did watch the video, but the way his behavior is clearly shows how obnoxious he is. This is followed by the fact that he is obnoxious in almost all of the videos or tournaments you see him in. Granted, he is a GREAT player, no doubt. However, I cannot respect someone who disrespects people that play this for what it is......a video game. If someone is going to get that obnoxious over a video game, its just immature and sad. At least in my opinion. This is also not to say that those who do achieve greatness at video games or anything else is shallow or does not have worth, but to put down others who may not even feel the same way about a game is just stupid. If we all felt the same way and viewed SF the way he does or takes more pride in the game, than maybe it would be different. But since people just like to play a game and maybe they are good or bad, does not give the right for someone to make a mockery or insult them.......
Sorry, I ranted. I'm not trolling or starting a fight, just stating my opinion.
Honestly ask yourself guys, if the trade off to have F-champs skill was to look and act like F-champ, would you take that offer? He's like a crack fiend when he has the stick in his hand, grinding his teeth, molesting the joy stick. He'd almost be scary if he wasn't a nerdy guy.
#20 pretty much summed it up for us. Ross, philipino are good players, we know that already. Putting down and poking fun at players online doesn't bring anything positive for the community. If the intention of this video was to be funny, I think it failed in that respect too.
that was great but combofiend had much better online time more enjoyable
I agree with another poster here, grab someone that isn't a big name. Go over to AI and grab some random you rarely see, ask if they know who you are, and if they say yes say "hey we want you on an ep of Excellent adventures. Care to come?". Sure there may be problems such as them seeing where you live or whatever, but you're involving the community rather than the big names of it. I know Gootecks is all about the community so maybe you could take the kid to his house? Obviously if you rarely see them there then they're playing somewhere else, more than likely at home.
@33 yup had no idea flip chmap was so arrogant, he could be a douche at times, even marn can be bad at times, but i agree they should bring back justin, marn and combofiend, atleast ricky and john choi are willing to switch their characters but not flip champ...but i still enjoyed this episode none the less.
What's the point of these videos anyways? @. @
Come on people Street Fighter is just a damn game. If your so into street fighter so much and think your so bad ass go fight for reals let's see how tough you can be lol
Its really unpleaseant to watch the people you believe as heros... acting like annoying dorks. They are the kings of this game, and they act worst than 8 year olds, like watching Federer making fun of little kids while hittin them with aces. If everybody is able to be the best just for knowing 2 or 3 secrets that the regular players dont... doesnt worth my time to keep on trackin this community. I know this episode is for fun (if that's the explanation), but balance it with something serious... the perfect mix.
And another thing... please Mike Ross, pleaseee, just believe for a moment in yourself and begin to act like the role model player you are, if youre not beating Daigo or Justin could be a tier or matchup thing, but as I see things you can make the difference big time. Stop the excesive humbleness, train to be the best because you can be it. WORD
I find it comical how controversial this show is. On one end, most views are offended but these videos and on the other they found these videos to be tasteless. As I said earlier, Gootecks and Mike Ross are laughing there asses off at the community for making their "free" pay day possible. It takes an idiot to donate his/her hard earn money, or their parent's hard money on a bunch of fools that want to make a show about "trolling" players. Do you think trolling has a positive effect? Do you think it is funny to disrespect random players online? Obviously some of you do since most of you contributed and others supporting these idiots.
Why not give Teamspooky or Levelup your money since those guys are doing something that is significant to the SF community, hence broadcasting live streams for free.
@59 But I want to pay money to have "Big name" players insult me, all I need is a rubber gimpsuit and the fee is justified!
@39
I played Justin Wong once, and as soon as I lost he told me what I did wrong and how i can correct my mistakes and become a better player...I didn't even ask him for help and he took a few minutes out of his night to help me out. I remember watching the east coast roast and thinking that he might be a dbag but he was just a incredibly nice person. Then I see Champ just talk crap about everyone and you can tell the other really don't want to laugh because he isn't just talking about random players. He is talking about their friends. Oh well... I'm reading to much into this lol
I think everyone thats bitching on how boring, crappy or watever the episode is needs to shut up! they are doing it for fun and entertainment! They care enough about thier fans and ssf4 players to make this damn show! They dont even get payed for this! They dont need you guys bad mouthing thier guest and show just because none of you nerds are not on it!! so just sit back and enjoy or just dont watch!
@63 shut up you goddamn idiot! I don't give a damn if whether or not these losers get paid for producing a crappy "show", they don't deserve to get paid for this P.O.S anyway. I'm sick of dumbasses like you who try to criticize any and all people who didn't like it, just because it features a few douchebaggy SF "pros" doesn't make it worthwhile, If becoming a SF "pro" means hanging out with idiots like the ones seen in this video, I think I'll stay at my current skill level. I think this "show" sucks, and they should get their account closed, what good is crap doing for the rest of us in SF community? Really?
*starts player*
*another f.champ episode*
*stops player*
Haters gonna hate but seriously, enough of episodes with this guy already. This is what, the 3rd or 4th now?
I used to enjoy ExAds, but not like this.
