AndriaSang.com translated a blog post by Marvel vs. Capcom 3's producer, Ryota Niitsuma, that stated new information of some sort would be shown at Jump Festa, a expo happening in Japan this weekend.
In today's post at the MVC3 dev blog, Niitsuma said that the team originally didn't have any major announcements planned for the event. However, they suddenly decided to "share new materials" during the game's noon stage show.
The phrase "new materials" could mean anything, but let's hope Niitsuma isn't just talking about some new artwork of existing characters.
Not much to go off of here, but as soon as new information breaks, you'll be able to find it here on the front page of the site.
Hsien-ko and Phoenix.
And if it's downloadable costumes, that would SUCK. I think DLC costumes won't work for this game. The characters are moving too fast for you to notice and appreciate them, unlike SSFIV where they move at turtle speed. In my opinion, only DLC characters would work for this game.
Lol I just don't want someone lame like Mike Haggar (which I can't understand why people want him in). He just doesn't fit the Mahvel style.
Whether Hsien-Ko is in or not, I'm just hoping for some more Darkstalker characters.
They should have added Bulleta (Baby Bonnie Hood) haha.
Niitsuma's Note:
''Come here because there is no chance at all to announce that voice actors ask that awaited luxury,
In this case, I should think the Japanese version of the voice actors announced here!
Of course, the characters are not videos of Japanese game yet
There are so through,
Everyone, yet I have not heard the voice supplemented by something more imagination (laughs). ''
If we do?
He would like also to send voice information and Japanese characters when they are published.
Does anybody know what's the mean. Is it ok to send the VA List liked this, hope it works:

@12
I guess that's good news for you, you d*ick licker.
Please people, THE LIST WERE NEVER TRUE. They were lucky, not true.
mark-morrison you mean his vaguely worded comment (Don't believe everything you see on the internet.) That's not de-confirming anything. What do you expect the guy to say? (Oh they nailed it, well done guys.) Obviously not, character reveals are their biggest marketing ploy for this game. So regardless if anyone comes out with a 100% accurate list they will still deny it. But I assume you're just another salty Megaman fan, and can't fathom that he may not be in the game. I guess we'll find out in a matter of hours if Lupinko's list was bull or not.
i'm not a salty megaman fan, because zero's in
but i mean you beleive a leaked list over a capcom employee you are silly.
"From Dokutasutorenjishirizu "Shumagorasu ""
This was a google translated part from the character VA blog, I love the say they say Dr.Strange and Shuma Gorath. ^o^
and you, Mr. Morrison:

lol sven deconfirmed that list and twitter post
===========================================================
YOU were the one ALL OVER that Twitter, praising it like it's the f*cking Bible.
I kind of wonder if they have characters on reserve, just as a safeguard, incase these leaks happen. Then swap the order of release for DLC or what not. Sure the game is done, the roster is set, still tweaking last minute balance and graphical issues but I'd assume the final build won't go gold until mid to late january.
Well, the twitter leaker was right about the Episode 3 trailer appearing very soon, sooner than we might think.
Now they are saying, yes there will be a reveal at this show. We'll see if he's still on the money, but he's been right so far.
Who do you believe? Capcom employee or Kennox's twitter.
@CrimsonRelic
Yes, I agree with the twitter being right about Episode 3 trailer but lets see if twitter is right about the new characters.
I'm not entirely sold on the new roster leak (despite not being a Mega Man fan, I still refuse to believe that he couldn't be in the game because he's like... Capcom's mascot), but... today we'll find out if the Klennox Twitter Leak was true, and if it was... well, the NeoGaf Roster Leak seems like it would also be true.
The tricky thing, though, is if there aren't any character confirmations, or any that aren't on the list, it remains neither confirmed nor deconfirmed. Honestly, I think it would be fun if they had the materials already produced to greatly **** with us and reveal Haggar that we all already know about and someone decently predictable like Sentinel. That way they'd secure another month of "is it true, is it fake?" bull****. Anyone else on the leak would be 100% solid confirmation of the list at this point, and I think that'd be really lame. Most of the fun and hype of this game is watching people argue every week about who is and isn't in and why their leak is crap and holding out hope for whatever character, and I think I'd lose a decent amount of hype if that were to end so soon. On that note, while I do quite love the leaked roster, I have to hope that at least something is wrong so there can be some character surprises down the road. I kind of win either way, though, because I got everyone that was vaguely plausible that I wanted already. Well, including the ones from the leak. I... hrm.
I have no idea what I want. I'mma just wait for new news.
OK to be honest i don't think that the leak is legit i mean i know things change but they had a pretty good reason why the weren't going to add hsien-ko or any more darkstalkers in to the MVC3 cast.( It would take too much to do the graphics.) now im not gonna say Mike hagger and Phoenix isn't possible (more like plausible considering the accident during capcoms Halloween party.) Also my original argument that they wouldn't add the broken characters from mvc2 was blown to pieces due to the fact that storm and magneto got in the game so sental is still a strong possibility. Ether way by Saturday night we will know and one way or another one of the two leaked list will be going down as a liar
I'm still waiting for Mega Man to enter MvC3. That would make me a happy man.
Well, tonight. Our Friday is Japan's Saturday. As far as Hsien-ko being graphically demanding, not really. She has a bunch of moving pieces, yeah, but they're not things that require constant dynamic animations or tons and tons of additional models. One of the less demanding Darkstalkers dudes, as far as both RAM and actual work required are concerned, I think. Darkstalkers being completely irrelevant is a better excuse for most of them, but the graphical one does definitely hold up for a few.
@SHOGUN
I don't know why I feel that Mega Man is their mascot, it's entirely possible that I may be out of touch.
Wasn't Captain Commando just literally a mascot first and then he eventually got his own game? And then he disappeared forever, except a few crossovers? He's not really... relevant at all anymore and likely hasn't been since Marvel vs Capcom 2, and even then only because of his beast-ass assists.
Ryu, yeah, I'll give you that one. He's gotta be as big as Mega Man, and Street Fighter is back in the limelight nowadays. Definitely Capcom's fighting mascot, and a good contender for overall mascot, but... I don't know.
I feel like... Mega Man has like... more games than anyone, and he's super well known. To me, he just kind of represents Capcom in a way nobody else could. He's always been there, and he'll always be there. No ten year breaks between his releases, Mega Man is a constant. Unkillable. He's... to me, anyways, Capcom in a blue little suit.
Okay, let's look at the facts here. If any of you followed my previous posts, you'd know very well I hate leaked lists. That's because most of them are false, and should be seen as false until proven otherwise.
I don't give a crap about Kennox, he's not important, and anyone that's using Kennox while ignoring Lupinko shouldn't even bother arguing, because Kennox most likely faked his information based on Lupinko's leaks in order to make them sound legitimate.
Why would they sound legitimate if they're based off Lupinko's leaks?
Let's see.
First, Lupinko gave a "leaked" list. Of course, nobody believed it at first, but it was later revealed that two characters which he specifically stated would be DLC actually end up as DLC. No other characters on his list were labled DLC, just Jill and Shuma. Everyone thought he was just trolling, but later it was revealed that the same exact two ended up being DLC.
So, lucky guess, right? I'm sure it's possible, I wouldn't believe him just because he got DLC characters right, though that does raise an eyebrow that the one of the only lists that include DLC end up having the DLC choices revealed later. So, other information from him? He said Viper would keep her focus attacks and EX moves from SSFIV. Lo and behold, Viper is revealed and does indeed have Focus and EX incorporated into her moveset.
From this, we can infer that Lupinko is either really lucky to have his guesses confirmed, and is just soaking in the moment while grinning widely behind his screen and pouring more bullcrap onto us, or he actually does have some kind of inside source providing him information.
From this alone, you can make your own decision if you want to believe it or not. This isn't about Kennox and his Twitter at all, it's about the list Lupinko released. If you want to see that list, it's here:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost....
I just find it funny how everyone pays attention to the unproven stuff and gives it all their attention, while leaks from people like Lupinko stay completely under everyone's radar.
Some interesting things to note:
1. Hsien-ko was never deconfirmed. Kensk, the person that leaked Hakan and Juri, stated that we should re-read the quote, implying that we're misunderstanding something. However, take note that Kensk said he doesn't know as much information about MvC3 as he did for SSFIV, but he did state in a later post that he's heard about Hsien-ko, but his posts are always fairly vague on Neogaf.
2. Hsien-ko's "transformations" are no more transforming than Tron's. Tron changes her robot's arms into different weapons, and Hsien-ko essentially does this as well. Having characters with awkward movements isn't out of the question either, considering we have Shuma already announced.
@WASSHOI
People care about the Twitter leaks because they give us a short timeline to easily prove or disprove things. Today, we'll know whether or not we can safely disregard Kennox. If he's right, though, there is no further arguing to be done with Lupinko's list. If he's not right, it's still entirely possible that Lupinko is correct, but that'll take time to find out and nobody wants to wait.
@badmandan
Understandable. Even I'm on the edge of my seat. We'll find out today (if you live in America), and the day is going by really slow for me. I'm waiting to see how this all turns out.
If Megaman isn't revealed today, I can't think of any other day they'd want to reveal him. It's his anniversary today, they're holding an event, and they have the chance to smash Lupinko's list with just that one reveal. There's no reason for Capcom to NOT reveal him today if he's not in the game, and truthfully, the comment about them "not planning to show anyone" today kinda makes me feel as if they won't announce Megaman. How could they NOT have Megaman planned to be announced on his anniversary?
Yeah, this is probably the last chance for Mega Man, and with them saying they had nothing planned... not looking too good. Perhaps I should just believe Lupinko if there's no Mega Man today, because this would be the ideal time.
Also, reading that back, it sounds like sarcasm, but it's totally not meant to be sarcasm.
I guarantee that TaskMaster is in MvC3 or I will post a video here of me shooting my 360.
I asked Seth at NYCC about the strange character that's too much. I then said, "Taskmaster" he paused and said, "You'll get nothing out of me!" The pause and the eye shift was all I needed, he smiled a bit too, that happens when someone gets it right on the 1st try.
Taskmaster DEFINITELY in MvC3! DEFINITELY!!!
@Cornwad
Actually Akuma was never dis-confirmed out-rightly.
Don't believe those leaks or you'll going to have a broken heart. I would laugh if they don't reveal any characters at all. Why, because it would be stupid. Mega Man would be a perfect reveal,but no guarantee that it will happen.
I agree, there are better big men characters than Haggar that's for sure
its not that hard to guess about episode 3. him saying its coming sooner than we think isnt even a specific answer. even seth said it was coming soon so idk. it does look like mega man will be next but knowing capcom they want to keep playing with our emotions. zero and tron are cool but even tvc had 3 mega man reps and less characters. i dont see why this game wont have 3 or even 4. if mega man is not in the game it would be one of the biggest let downs.
Jump Festa is two-days event, on 18th and 19th. Marvel Vs Capcom 3 started at 12:00 on both days.

Spiderman x-23 and more! Ask your Questions!
i wouldn't necessarily believe Capcom employees because they work for Capcom.
They are known to lie or bend the truth at times or exaggerate stuff.
Seth is guilty of spinning information for crowd control pr ness
and Ono is known to troll and lie like that's his job title.
Now that I think about it, Capcom could do any character they want no matter how much RAM, the problem is time constraints.
All of this excuse about this character take too much memory is just a random excuse, computers these days have the power to handle anything. Plus they have technology that can actually reduce things that take a lot of memory. Like I said it's just plain "time constraints" to do big projects.
