Now that I've read the comments I agree with the sentiment that people who are like, "DEEEEEERP I'M SO DRUNK RIGHT NOW" are obnoxious and annoying. I mean, I thought the video was funny but he didn't need to keep saying that.
I'll bet $10 that nobody–from this planet, throughout history, living or dead–has ever been impressed by someone telling them how drunk they are. It's just never happened. And it WON'T ever happen.
I know it's difficult to be a subtle drunk but if he recorded his antics and put it only in the description that he was drunk it would have been funnier. Then again he's drunk so it's not like he's in complete control of his actions.

If you don't like this video (for those "It Ain't Front Worthy" tools) then you either not old enough to understand the wonders of controlled substance abuse or you're too salty about not being interesting enough to get front page (aka being a boring person) or in the more likely case on Eventhubs' comment board, both.

Geoff Mendicino is an alcoholic, everyone. Don't say he isn't, because that just makes him drink more. It's a serious problem in his life. He's in AA and he's getting help. It's not funny that so many of you are making light of this.
He's also a first-class troll, which is apparent in the salty comments of some of you f*cktards getting irritated that this is on the front page.
If you don't like this story, it's OK to post about it here. I read the comments and they do affect which stories you see — and don't see.
And the same is true in reverse, if you like it, also feel free to post your feedback, as I take these comments just as much into consideration as well.
Obviously, I can't make everyone happy though, and there will always be people who want to see more or less of stuff, but your feedback is definitely taken into consideration, however you feel.

Listening to the commenters on this site is the worst idea in the world. Most of the people that visit this site don't even comment because they don't want to be involved in this faceless mush of trolls and people that have no idea what they're talking about. I get that you love your site and your community, but keep going with your gut. If it's street fighter/fighting game related, the people want it!

I am only going to say this 'cus Catalyst wants our opinions, but this is terrible. I don't mind it on the front page. I mean it's not like I have to watch and one post isn't going to clutter it up. I really just hope to not see it again so this guy don't get more exposure. I don't want him thinking that he is a hit 'cus he post mediocore (at best) videos and claims to be drunk (which in my experience means he is not or drank 2 winecoolers).

First of all, if this guy is drunk out of his mind, why can he sober up instantly and play really well, when I'm really drunk I can not focus or concentrate, for the life of me, I'm thinking we are watching some pre-game chatter mind-game of that's epic or epically *stupid
That said it was a nice video, the ending was capital he seems nice if it was surprising to see he was not black (wtf moment right there didn't know non-blacks ever had to 'bust a rap right there' :deepfacepalm

About the whole "being drunk thing".
The whole concept is usually funnier the younger you are, basically starting from the age of 12-14, which is about the peak of where it is funny.
At around 16-20 you brag about drunken experience because you can drink. (underaged drinken, newsflash there...)
After 20, usually (hopefully), you start to take it for what it is, a party experience or such.
With that being said, watching a random cammy online complaining on lag at the same time he's doing random DP?
Think what you want about the video, but I think you can do better then this.
I've played drunk many times, I think it's pretty fun. I don't get as salty when I lose. This guy is a total tool though, and I agree with those who have said that this guy needs no encouragement to try and make front page again. My final opinion: if I want to watch drunk ssf4 vids I'll search youtube or make my own vids, don't really want to see it front page of eventhubs. I think posts/stories like this will bring down eventhubs rep or validate the claims that eventhubs isn't the greatest or even a good source for street fighter/fighting game news.

I gotta agree with the peeps sayin this ain't front page worthy. I mean it's mildly entertaining for the first few seconds of the fight but Geoff quickly becomes annoying. You don't have to be a drinker to know that people drunk CAN be funny sometimes. But in this instance, it's not. People are usually funny when out doing things drunk, not playing street fighter.
Is it fun to play street fighter drunk maybe (its hit or miss for me personally).
