• There's an interesting clip showing Juri Kara Fireball and Focus Attack tricks made by Artistbydefault. These things can help control spacing and expand her Focus Attack range quite a bit.
• GamerBee (Adon) took first place in the Shadowloo Showdown tournament. Tokido (Akuma) got second, Mago (Fei Long, Sagat) third, and local Australia player Humanbomb (Ryu) placed 4th. Thanks to Alex Valle for the results.
• Stiffler2100 created this Gouken combo video which starts off with some standard combos before working its way into the tricky stuff.
• Hoigek posted a video of the insane damage Balrog's fully charged Turnaround Punch does on counter hit. Don't blink or you might miss this one.
• Ladi96 uploaded another SSFIV combo video, featuring multiple characters. This has a few flashy combos along with some more common ones as well.
I've just posted full Shadowloo Showdown results from the Saturday competitions on OzHadou. See: http://www.ozhadou.net/forum/viewtopi...
Tokido also won Third Strike, Tekken 6 and Blazblue: CS
Gouken combo video wasn't very impressive. I play gouken and he's capable of doing much more complicated combos and resets.
Good effort though... It did say it was his first one. Hopefully the next one will be more in depth.
Though in saying that, I'm not a fan of when someone puts out a good combo video on a char you play. I feel like they're spilling the beans on the char when I put the effort into finding things out myself.
Oh wow, thanks for posting the Gouken video.
@8 yeah I just got my capture card and decided to mess around with a few combos. Any excuse to use the capture card. About the resets and such, I know quite a few more ;) but as you said "I feel like they're spilling the beans on the char when I put the effort into finding things out myself." I use plenty more, just don't want everyone seeing them! Once they do they'll know exactly how to counter it D:
(That Balrog shiz is unbelievable. I don't even understand...?)
(Lol whut? That's crazy...I'd understand if it was say, Seth.)
Mago is the king. Like Daigo said this kind of tournament format needs alot of luck to win.

Beating him by couple pixel doesn't mean much. Godsgraden format is the real test of skill. first to 10, round-robin. No get lucky and win couple of games.
Community news is gggrrrreeeeaaaattttt.
