this really sucks. i already bought mine.im kinda angry but whatevers its still a great deal lets not get too greedy now. im still pissed for the time being though

I salute you guys who use sticks. I bought my first ever sticks on Monday using the 2 for 1 deal.
And damn, it takes a tad getting used to. I've been in practice mode for 3 hours now.

@4 It takes a good 2-4 weeks, but it's totally worth it in the end. It does seem very disheartening to use at first though, just keep at it.

I'm tempted to pounce on this deal as I have a first gen TE that I've had since vanilla came out. It still works great, but sometimes my hard kick button stops working and I have to unplug and replug in the controller and it works again... it's been doing that randomly maybe once every 4-5 hours ever since I got it...anybody have similar issues?

But yeah I kinda want to get a Round 2 for 360 and one for PS3 in case I ever go to a tourney held on PS3, and maybe try to mod my current one since I would have backups if things broke.

Still have my MvC2 Tournament stick, and it's working just fine. It has some scratches on the glossy parts though, which I hate. How long do sticks usually last?

@Riot, thanks for the info. I was starting to think I was a failure with the non-charge characters. I'm liking how my Guile and Dictator are starting to feel.
Even though I'd done all the normal challenges for vanilla SF 4. I'm using those to adapt to the stick motions.

I wish I could also have gotten a stick for the PS3.

I know how you feel my friend. I am learning stick too and I have faced a couple of guys on this site using nothing but it. It takes a while to get use to but execution with it is so wonderful. I managed to the the two for one deal... They are not here yet but since the 360 one can be modded... That is why I got them. I plan to mod one and the modded one will be the middle man. I will have one both ps3 and 360 and the modded will be for both in case I have company over and for tourneys when I gathered the courage to enter them lol.

I recommend also playing some matches against other players. Mix it up a bit so that you get used to how it feels to move around on the screen while doing combos.

I still have trouble doing s.HP into Super with Fei because the motion has to be so fast, but other than that I can do most of the basic stuff, and I've played with stick for about 2 months. Dashing to the left is also a bit difficult, but you just need to practice your thumb to do that. :p

Also, to Catalyst: I think there's a mistake in the article. You write: "MarkMan broke the news a short while ago that the buy one Mad Catz Tournament Edition FightStick offer ..."
Wouldn't the correct thing be "buy one get one", or am I just being an idiot? :(

You're right p3los... I'm european, and want to enter the VS fighting world. But no good deal for a TE. No deals as good as the US deals.

I think there's a better chance to find a good deal on a stick from Shadaloo. I'm pretty new to the scene myself, but they're also holding a stick contest, so I wouldn't be too surprised if they would make a deal in the future for European players.

Well I have CP (cerebral palsy), so i use my left functional hand for the joystick and my right clenched hand (can't really un clench it) for the buttons. Because of this, it is obviously Somewhat hard for me to press all three of the punch buttons with the base of my right hand if its in a fist. So Thats why I use a TE...

I feel so ripped off after buying my TE about a month ago. Life comes at you hard I guess...

Man i cant believe i bought this before the second promo. Im sending another email see if i can take advantage of this since im going to be selling the second stick that i got for pretty much nothing since i have no need since ill have three sticks.
