Anyway, Jazwares' Sonic and Mega Man toys are pretty atrocious so I don't see this going over well.

I think the whole airport security issue is being blown way out of proportion. I mean, come one, americans want the country to be safe but they don't want to put any effort through on their part. Another thing, americans complaining about groping is extremely ridiculous considering they have sex with strangers all the time.
The cancer risk seems to be the only reasonable objection to the scanners in my opinion. So far I've mostly heard from guys objecting to the scan. What, small penis? LOL! But I've seen women complain too but they have enough body issues to fill the library of congress.
Cancer eh? Well damn, legal molestation it is. There better be a tradeoff for this. Like, do we still have to take off our f******g shoes? It's more time consuming to take them off and put them back on than it sounds. I'll let you feel me up all you want if I can keep my shoes on.
