For those of you saying anyone can edit/change the IMDb listings, you're not revealing the whole story here. While any registered user can submit a change, it doesn't mean it will be approved and go live.

IMDb changes/additions have to be checked and approved by a staff member before they go up. IMDb has obviously posted some inaccurate information in the past — but so has every site on the internet.

The IMDb isn't perfect, and they've made some embarrassing mistakes in the past — but again, so has every website in existence. Generally, their listings are accurate and checked out, though, at least from my experience.

Anyway, there are disclaimers throughout the story, because this isn't official until Capcom makes it so, but I just wanted to jump in and clear up some misinformation that's being spread around about IMDb.

What I love is that I saw one post someone put up about Laura Bailey (who is the VA for Chun-Li) and that they thought she would be great as Morrigan because she could use her Lust voice from FMA "See's Laura Bailey voicing Chun-Li/Morrigan"

IMDB is the biggest movie site around. They get all sorts of info before other places do because the production people involved submit it to them. You can find cast and credit information for movies and video games that haven't been released yet.

IMDB also once confirmed Dave Chappelle as a voice actor for Metal Gear Solid 3. IMDB has a lot of good going for them, and imo they have a lot of credibility. But it's not always 100% accurate.

I think they already deconfirmed X. So no, it's not X. Don't get me wrong, I love X, but it simply wont be him.

I'd prefer classic over EXE, but honestly either is fine.

I'm way past accepting that X won't be in it, but let's not forget that X had the same VA as Megaman in Megaman 8, and he sounded borderline girlish. :3

Classic has got to be in, when people think of CAPCOM, the majority will think of it's three biggest mainstream titles:
Street Fighter, Resident Evil and Megaman. Which Megaman do fans associate themselves with the most? Classic, baby. 2 new titles came out recently, so it's even noticeable for the newer generation who played other Megaman spinoffs. Nostalgia sells, and Megaman 9/10 proved that, get ready for some Tornado Hold and Leaf Shield, baby!

I checked on Soul Calibur IV. It does says that Sephiroth is voiced, but it's "uncredited" meaning not verified. So far I will have to agree with the author here on Eventhubs it looks legit so far.

X however is "rumored" so it's not definite for him. Eventhubs didn't even take mention of X in this forum.

Remember that IMD is just like Wikipedia and can be Edited by anyone with an account so ill take this info with a grain of salt, although i can't wait for Megaman to be revealed

In my opinion I think if Mega Man is in the game.. He will most likely be DLC. According what I have seen for the most part.. the max representing a series or group on the disc is two. Even though there are three RE characters that will make the game... Only two are on the Disc and the third will be DlC. So even if MM does not make it right away he may show up later

It has zero credibility, and it isn't claiming to. It's user-edited. It is no different than Wikipedia in that sense, except the sources aren't as prominently listed and so total nonsense takes longer to be caught. Others have said this and they are correct. Finding incorrect material on IMDB, even about older productions, or entries clearly based on rumor or even fan wishes is so easy as to be trivial.

That is a very excellent idea! The only thing that would be weird is if you see .EXE or X use Leaf Shield or Rock Ball, since they never actually used those moves in their respective games, BUT the idea, in itself, can make everyone happy to a very good extent, they can just choose the skin of Megaman they want.

Since he's the same character fundamentally, it makes the most sense. In the ol' 2-D days, Capcom would have to go through the trouble of making a new sprite, but in the world of 3-D models, they can just slap some new textures on and viola - the Megaman of your choosing. In a perfect world, I'm sure folks would rather have an all new Megaman from the ground up, but with the optional skins (and hopefully tweaked sfx for his move-set that coordinate with the version selected), I think it makes a fine compromise.

If Marvel's Spiderman can have new clothes, why can't Megaman. I just hope we don't have to pay extra for 'em. ^_^

LoL at people who think no megaman is in the game. Capcom has put him in over 100 game(yea I know look it up its true.....and a little sad) he will be in this one. Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Megaman are Capcoms best selling series so thats why they have so many characters.

I'm convinced it's classic megaman and it's got nothing to do with the voice actor. The fact that there is going to be a megaman in the game just says it's classic. Capcom said they wanted to balance new characters with veterans didnt they? Well classic could be one of those vets. Sad, i thought .EXE had so much potential for this game...

No Mega Man is in the game. Not classic, not EXE, not X, no character named Mega Man. Not on the roster, not even DLC. He's just not there.

I'd love to see my Mega Man make an appearance and I honestly feel that his inclusion should be a formality. I mean, think about it, how would you guys feel if Spiderman was disconfirmed? I don't play Spidey at all, but would've been pissed if he didn't make the game (just pissed. Not raging). Same goes for Mega Man.

I'm a HUGE Volnutt fan myself, but I'd like to see Classic. However, I feel that classic and Arthur have many similarities. Volnutt plays differently then other folks on the roster including Zero and Arthur, so I'd like to see him so long as he gets an upgrade from TvC like V.Joe received.

Personally, if we don't get a Mega Man, then I'm all for the Omega Sentinel whom will be making a return in X-Men Legacy this month I believe. She's a Sentinel that's pleasantly woman shaped!

I don't think X or EXE will make it. For one, X was already shot down. For two, EXE just isn't of the same high repute as Classic.

So Classic will make it, I think. Either that, or they'll be lazy and upgrade Volnutt.
