Here's a look at some of the interesting news bits happening in the community.
• AndriaSang translated the most recent Japanese Super Street Fighter 4 blog, and assistant producer Tomoaki Ayano mentions that some hints about the new characters being added to the game would be provided in next week's blog entry, which will be posted this coming Friday. Also, this image surfaced, which was rumored to be Photoshopped, but actually ended up being legit. It shows a shadowed version of Yun's skateboard and Yang's skates.
• Pedram and Private Ryan interviewed Capcom's Seth Killian at Super vs Battle 20-X. An mp3 of just the S-Kill interview is available here (.mp3 file 25 megabytes), but you can also check out the entire clip with other community members via this thread on NeoEmpire. There isn't a ton of interesting information from Killian here, but he does say that Capcom uses the tournament scene, among other things, as a means of balancing the characters in Street Fighter. He specifically mentioned that Sagat in vanilla Street Fighter 4 received tweaks because of some of the tournament results.
• Nemesys Syndrome is putting together a nifty page of Super Street Fighter 4 Sagat tips and videos for a few of his match ups.
• There are some wicked looking Akuma shoes over on DeviceMag.
• MarkMan posted a video showing some of the ridiculousness and awesomeness that was this year's GamesCom show, featuring Yoshinori Ono and Katsuhiro Harada.

with gen and rufus in the game I'd rather some others tbh rolento and and dare I say Hugo but like Jwong said, there are too many command grabbers as is, but with the turtke fest that is SF$ command grabing helps, eh I don't know I'm going back to playing

Hugo would break this game. The devs said already that T.Hawk was pushing the limits of character height, it seems unlikely that Hugo would fit. Hakan and Balrog wouldn't be able to jump over him easily, and I'd rather not have Hugo than see them ruin these two characters' jumps like they already ruined Gen's.

Akuma shoes = glorious. And that's not a word I use lightly.
If Capcom uses the tourney results as means to balance the game then I want to know what they're going to do with Chun Li. She's not overpowered at all, but she's been winning her fair share of tournaments lately, so I want to know how that will end up.
If they ever attempt further character balance, which I think is unlikely, I think it's much more likely that they buff the bottom of the bottom tier rather than nerf anyone near the top tier. This game is so well-balanced near the top it's pretty much insane compared to pretty much any fighter, at least any Capcom fighter.
Yea right now the top tier is as balanced as it will get as far as fighting games go, buff the low tier to handle or deal with the top tiers & I think it SSFIV will be one of the most balanced games of all time.
Anybody else really hate the idea of Yun and Yang in the game? It's almost enough to make me stop playing in a way.
They were juggle nerds who were overpowered and have had all their moves copied by other characters now. To make them fair would be to kill the reason why most people want them at all. Plus,they look ridiculous!

As fun as both of the Lee brothers are too always play, I'm hoping that it turn out that Yun is just in, and Yang is only in as an alt. color/costume like in NG or for supers like in CvS2. I'm still hoping for Rolento, Karin, Mika, Yun, Alex, and Elena. Anyone but Hugo. Maybe Necro though.

LOL I agree Gen and a handful of other characters need some buffs but making Shoryukens suck is pointless. They are FINE in SSF4 as it is. And Gen being top tier in any game would just be frustrating as FFFFFFF*CK have you seen what happens when Vega is top tier(Claw that is)? It's a nightmare. Make him solid/playable, like in Vanilla with a few buffs here and there. Nothing too crazy.
Yes please to Yun/Yang, haters be damned. They were 2 of the most popular and fun characters from SF3, and I would love to see them return. They even got shout outs in Chun-Li's intro vid in Vanilla.
i'm somehow glad that the yun & yang pic is fake. don't get me wrong, they're 5th & 6th on my character wishlist, but since we might get at least 6 additional characters and the devs are probably going to add 3 from sf3 and 3 from alpha, i just don't want yun & yang put in before alex, hugo and elena from the sf3 series.
also those shoes look awesome but i wouldn't wear them if i got them, as they're a bit too colorful for my taste. if anything, i'd put them on a shelve or a showcaseas a collectors item.
I don't really care about yun and yang being in SSF. I just think those two slots should include some variety to the cast. I like the Q idea. I still love him as the Secret character in III. Could use a nice mid boss to show up if you do well. I'm still hoping it is alex and Rolento, but I also keep hearing it is going to be a total of 6 new characters.

Since when does Yang have skates? Anyway, why don't people want Yun and Yang in SSF4? You haters, look at what they did to Makoto. Why do you just wanna kill off the more interesting characters?

I bet the 6 characters returning are going to be Yun, Yang, R. Mika, Rolento, Hugo (hinted at possibly appearing by Yoshinori Ono), and either Alex or Elena.
