August 2011? Damn that's a long wait even by Capcom standards. Yet previously they made it sound as if the Capcom game will be consisted of mostly classic SF II characters..anyways i ain't complaining. We got new SSF IV characters being unveiled at the TGS next month and MVC3 next Spring so its not as if we will be starving for new games lol

Damn, this is going to be the longest dripfeed in fighting game history. Let me know when it comes out, until then, I will concentrate on SSF4.

As for the TxSF, SF had their little 3D shenanigans with the EX series, so for those who are begging for another EX game, this is the closest you're gonna get. I hope Devi Jin and Evil Ryu make it, it just wouldn't be a Tekken game if they didn't, you know who Tekken is all about the badass evil storylines and whatnot.
If the Tekken characters are going to get Street Fighter DNA, then they need some fireballs. Otherwise, they won't be able to win in a game where projectile spamming is the key to winning.
I still think street fighter x tekken needs some kind of art style or graphical change to pull it slightly away from the look of SF4.
I mean look at TvC and MvC3. Both running on the same engine but its the slightly different art styles that give game a bit of individuality.
Acknowledge the fact that Justin said SF X T will be out in 2012. I don't think he meant to reveal that but as a professional gamer he will get information/ games ahead of official release date just like how some pro's got SSF4 before everyone else. Listen to 7:15 to 7:20 of the fighters fury interview with Justin that was posted a few days back. It makes sense only half the cast will be revealed by then because we don't even know what month of 2012 it will be out. For all we know it could be out August 2012 however realistically speaking they would probably make it so that it is out a few months before EVO.
I think the problem is there are more SF characters you would rather want to play as compared to Tekken. They just don't have that many appealing characters unlike sf4 everyone is interesting and fun and easy to learn to play with. Hopefully SFxTekken fixes that.
@FroggyMan77: Why do they need fireballs? Two very strong characters, Rufus and Balrog, do very well but do not have fireballs. They already showed Kazuya has a way around fireballs. I don't think it would be a problem, much of the SSF4 does not have a projectile. It's about zoning, spacing, footsies, etc. not fireballs.
hope the street fighter cast will get new stuff like ryu's 3rd strike kick so they dont play exactly like how they do in ssf4
would be good for everyone to have a different feel than ssf4, could probably be done with giving them more wall/floor bounces into combos (like Kazyua) and/or a new move they didnt have in ssf4 like Ken's CvS2 (Sean's 3rd Strike move) flying leg drop or Bison's cross up devils reverse from SF2...or change Chun to a motion character so she plays more like 3rd strike...
Basically as long as the play style is fresh for the street fighter cast i'd even be happy with just the standard characters everyone expects

Honda, Dee Jay, Fei Long, Cammy, Akuma, Charlie(Guile Replacement), Rolento, Guy, Sodom, Alex, Dudley, Yang, Abel, Rufus, Eddie Gordo, Steve Fox, Yoshimitsu, Raven, Dragunov, Bryan Fury, King, Jin, Heihachi, Bob, The Sumo Guy(I don't know his name), Jack- 5, Marshal Law & Bruce to make it in the game
Think of the distinct match ups like; Eddie Gordo Vs. Dee Jay, Dan Vs. The bear or the kangoroo, Guile Vs. Paul and Fei Long vs. Law. Good match ups
The ultimate match up is Sagat Vs. King
Also the game announcer(during vs gamplay) should be similar to Third Strike or SFAlpha 2 because both of these have the best voice actors :D

That's your opinion not a fact, I know a bunch of SF fans that will love to play as Tekken characters in this game and not only SF fans will buy this game. Obviously you have to consider Tekken players and newcomers also. Character appeal from either side isn't a problem that needs fixing AT ALL
@#27 those rivals list looks awesome, I definitely agreed with Eddie Gordo & Dee Jay being rival :D , the other rivals should be Yoshimitsu vs Sodom, Bob vs Rufus, Steve Fox vs Dudley, Christie vs Elena, Craig Marduk vs Birdie, Nina William vs Cammy, Bruce Irvin vs Adon

Such narrow minded people nowadays... It makes sense to have a proper opinion for something you personally experience but just an idea you truly know nothing about... It makes the words uttered out of your mouths to be foolish...
At least let the game be actually playable before you make insults... That is like disliking copic theme dreams... You have no idea what the heck it is do you... So insulting would be dumb. Just give it time.
