VideoGamesDaily posted their interview with Marvel vs. Capcom 3 producer, Ryota Niitsuma. This isn't a ground breaking article, as it covers some things you've probably read else where, however, if you'd like to know every possible detail about the upcoming game, you should check this out. Will all characters be capable of the snap back move (forces an involuntary character swap) as standard or will it be limited to only certain characters as with TvC?
Niitsuma: Yes, that’s been accepted as an important system in MvC2 so we had to have it.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3's combos system appears to be very open and flexible allowing for huge combo opportunities. Returning to your earlier comments regarding changes based on event showings, can you tell us more about what has been changed since the game’s playable debut at E3?
Niitsuma: If you were a hardcore fighting game fan and you played the E3 build and then you played the Comic-Con build you would probably think it’s a different game because we’ve made so many changes based on feedback.
Can you give us some examples?
Niitsuma: The E3 build in a way was Tatsunoko vs. Capcom 2 in terms of system because in TvC all characters were able to do similar things. The direction we wanted to go in MvC3 is where all characters are unique, for example one character can do a particular thing in the air or on the ground, and the Comic-Con build is a lot closer towards that. Now one character may not be able to do something else that other characters can do, but in return they can do something else, so it’s a lot more specialized with each character.
Froggy that's when someone guesses on the aerial exchange combo (when you press the exchange button while in the air doing a comic to change and keep the combo) it stops the combo and allows you to do a combo. it's rewarding you for guessing correctly during a person trying to do an air combo and switch out their characters
yeah i hope too, abel and hakan are enough as a "hibrid" for this game.
i hope him being in the game is not fake, i want my high stun brawler dude back and want to air stampede all over the crouch blockers all day. And jumping DDT the tick throw spammers, hakans squeeky start up and flopping around on whiff DOES NOT CUT IT.
I wonder which Huamn Torch they're talking about
there's been two

More specialized = less balanced. You heard it here first.
while there still aren't any characters in this game im a really big fan of, i still want to play this game so bad. i really hope we can get a demo of mvc3 eventually.
Seth, that's untrue they just have to actually take time on it unlike MvC2. Where they've gone on records saying, we just took all the characters from the older games and put them into MVC2(which you can tell) and tuned them to be in a game and rushed it out after MVC1(MVC1 arrived in arcades in 1998 and MVC2 in 1999)
I wish they'd elaborate on the aerial psuedo-Megacrash that takes no meter.
