In this piece, Ono mentions that he's been pitching a new Darkstalkers game to his boss, Keiji Inafune, on a weekly basis, but he has yet to get it approved."When I was going through all of these moves for Nina I thought 'I've seen this somewhere before," he said. "It boiled down to Darkstalkers. In Darkstalkers we have chain combos: Light, light, medium, medium, hard, hard. That is a Capcom version of that rhythmic input command."
Once Ono made that connection, he said, he saw the potential.
"We see great possibilities in these two mixing up," he said. "In that same sense, like how chain combos are used to play Tekken, we'll bring back Nina and Law's (If Law is in the game) into Street Fighter X Tekken, incorporating that chain combo style."

I agree that Fei Long vs Marshall Law would be interesting. I'm pretty glad they're doing it this way, too. Of course, I hope this means Namco does something similar for their Tekken X Street Fighter, and adapting the Street Fighter characters into the Tekken playing style.

Just so you know Maxi from Soulcalibur IS Japanese and his fighting style does resemble Jeet Kun Do but with Nunchucks. Jeet Kun Do does not necessarily relate only to one fighting style and weapons is apart of that style as well.

If we know anything about Ono, him saying he's been trying to pitch it to his boss practically means its gonna happen. How could it not? when you have a successful game like SSFIV you have to look at the facts. Ono has it in the bag. but watch nothing is gonna get announced for like another year.

SFxTekken really not that hyped I only like: Dragunov,King,A.King,Raven,Paul,Kazuya,Yoshimitsu,Marduk,Feng Wei,Ogre,True Ogre,Bryan. Thats from the tekken series the rest of the characters for me are cheap and retarted. They have to make Lars Asian/White WTF? he looks like a puff must be the gay genese Heihachi passed down to him IMO. I would rather perfer his dad was Paul or Kaz. What turns me off is they are obviously not going to put every character in this game so probably just gonna get stuck with the ones I don't like but Street Fighter's roster is way better I can play everyone and enjoy using them all because they are all interesting.

if a Darkstalkers game were to be release, it might be an HD remix to sorta test the market. if lots of people buy it, then the chances of an actual one be released. we vote not only with our voices, but with our dollars as well. to all Darkstalkers supporters: if you want it, buy it & hope your vote with the dollar's strong enough to warrant a true sequel. if, per say, it would be released as a downloadable game with HD graphics, i would buy it. thats how we as fans vote

@mr-e I have played all the Tekkens and I am a beast at it I think I know when to voice my oppinion but Tekken 6 was a failed sequel to the series. Tekken 5 DS was better and the hit box there did not suck comparted to T6. So if you have played or are any good at it you would understand how I a fan would feel its stuff like this that needs to be red so that Harada would know what to fix. Its not meant to insult but to be looked at like a letter from a fan that enjoys the game and pinpoints the major issues that should be dealt with.
@mr-e For you to even consider a HD remix tells me you are a moron. Ono just said he would enjoy making a new DS with the SF4 engine. I don't want a version of DS with sprites I want one as good as SF4 level Ono doesn't want to make a HD remix and he is a fan of the DS/Vampire series. Its people like you that stop Ono from pursuing his dream of making a new DS using the SF4 engine. Quite frankly what you said is enough to piss of people including Ono who had to wait years before news of a new DS/Vampire were ever to come out.
