Harada offered a very early look at the 3D Ryu model being worked on in the Tekken style, one that he stressed was not finished with proper lighting or even with a final uniform. In the shots shown off at Gamescom, the Tekken X Street Fighter version of Ryu was wearing the gi of Paul from Tekken.
The producers of Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter asked fans not to worry too much about the current prototype state of the model, pleading that they'll keep groaning on Facebook and Twitter to a minimum.

they have jin right next to him so they can match proportions,... cause jin's a shotoclone
ill say it now, the sf characters are gonna look 100 times better in tekken then they look in sf4. Dont believe me? Wait till they show chun.

Looks like Akira and Jin Kazuya lol. I think it actually looks better than the street fighter version. I'm actually more interested in the Tekken version because it'll be all 3D and have side step!!! Why don't Capcom do a crossover with Sega- now that's the perfect crossover!!
Wow. I think even as a "prototype" it looks better than SFIV's version of Ryu.
Hats off on this model. Looks great.
I like it. A LOT. Even with this prototype, they've managed to keep ryu looking cool and badass, but with the Tekken canon and style. AWESOME, can't wait!
Very solid prototype. I'll be picking both up. **** the snobbery, more gaming goodness for me.
It looks better because it doesn't have that cartoon feel to it, it's more serious now. I kinda wish SSF4 had a more serious design to it.

I'm with you man. I know this is beta but it's still indicative of what we'll get in the end... Which is street fighter characters devoid of the "feeling" that makes them SF characters and not KOF characters...No offense to KOF, it's just that their characters aren't very interesting.
Yeah this definitely looks like they want to bring evil Ryu into the mix. And why not? Since tekken has devil jin. I'm talking about the link that was posted on here of course. Good looking out.
I really don`t care about this crossover, but honestly. just after see this i`m really interested on namco version (AND FOLKS, I DON´t LIKE TEKKEN), so planning get it and skip the capcom version. anyway i have a very important question from namco, ¿STREET FIGHTER CHARACTERS WILL HAVE PERSONALIZATION? or they give us the same S*** from special characters in Soul calibur IV (sorry u cant change cloth, or anything on them)
SFIV ryu looks better cause he has style, this model is just more realistic.

Ryu...dont have so short hairs and a pale face..cant they make him look like Ryu of 3rd strike...!
Does anyone else like the irony of the fact that the first game Ryu looks japanese in isn't even a street fighter game?
Nothing wrong with the model but It doesn't have that SF pzazz anymore. Ryu looks like some dude in a Gi, now. And that's pretty much it. The SFIV style definitely adds more personalty and has the overall better design. More thiught goes into Capcom's version
whoops forgot to write, wanted to say same here and also this does look cooler than sf4 ryu but imo my fav ryu sprite is either sf3 or capcom vs snk
Also i predict this, T X SF will sell and be better than SF X T (cant believe i said tht but cmon, dont sf x t look like rip off of sf4 with other characters from a diff franchise? Just add a turbo to the end of ssfiv, anybody got the hint)
I also think Jin should be rival with Ryu, I feel that Kazuya & Akuma should be rivals more.

dang Ryu looks non Japanese (not even asian) and Old, what's with the facial stubs! Ryu is ony in his mid twenties in SF4 and close to his late twenties in third strike, Damn! he is getting old (equal to a more powerful SHIN SHORYUU!!!!! KEN!!!)

If my memory serves me right, Ono san from Capcom and Harada san from Tekken stated that as much as possible they want to keep from each other from having to have even at least a vague idea of what each of their respective titles will be like (e.g. in terms of gameplay, graphics, character models, basically anything that has to do with each game).
Now my question is, how can they accomplish this?, when I'm sure that in the future as the games progress into development, there will be inevitable footage and videos that will show up on each of these games.
for a very early build, its pretty nice. now hopefully we can get some gameplay footage of the namco version of the cross over. if its just as good as the capcom version i'll be gettin both. i have to admit i was skeptical at first. for the most part im still am due to not bein able to see the namco ver. however im pretty sure i'll enjoy the end product. namco makes top quality fightin games imo, like capcom.
