You can find a direct capture version, without the combo being performed on the joystick, by hitting the link below.
Going to try this NAOW!
No I'm not. I just... really can't deal with failing that many times.
And that's what Rufus gets for being Chun Li worst match up.
No doubt she will get more buffs in the arcade version, while they remove Zangief's arms from his lariat
did any one else hear it???..... he played beethoven's 9th symphony in c major using the arcade stick and chun-li's legs.
well now, being a guy user, beating a good chun, just became that much more annoying. so does this mean we can put chun in her own tier now?
Gief's lariat is still a damn good anti air, besides not hitting ducking opponents any more, I don't see what else has changed that makes it "bad", besides the dudes invincible the entire duration of it anywhere under his the attacking frames. I say you got it good.
its a corner combo so only can be done in the corner. people wont be able to do that online with the lag. its a dummy combo only can do against the dummy
Lol This loop was originally discovered by Sakonoko (that beastly Cammy player). He actually uses this loop in actual matches when he plays as Chun-Li.
@24 Guile4Life
The loop CAN WORK midscreen also
Sako doing the loop midscreen:

Sako usually just does a few repetitions of the loop. Obviously damage scaling would make many repetitions useless.
Oh yea @24 Guile4Life
Sako does this loop online also against other players. Well in Japan, playing online is quite close to playing offline because their internet over there is lightning fast.
If I'm not mistaken, Japan's average internet speed is over 60 Mbps (Outta control). No wonder their connections are always green.
Man, I had no clue Sako played Chun-Li. Leave it to him to exploit the most unusual links in the game for any character. This is an insane find.
Kudos to Sako and Biffo for keepin it fresh.

No... absolutely NO! It's cool that things like that are possible (it enriches the game), but making regular gamplay that way (where players aim to do the longest possible combos) would be a DISASTER.
First of all those combos don't look that GOOD (too long, too repetitive etc). Shorter and straight-forward combos are more appealing visually.
Secondly, if big combos were very rewarding making 1 good call could mean winning the whole round... and that would be ridiculous.
Finally, many characters that are not designed to perform long combos would SUFFER HEAVILY if the game didn't scale the combos.
The only thing that is TRULY AMAZING about those combo videos is the execution and creativity of people who perform them.
New Street Fighter x Tekken footage guys

Screw capcom!
They took away Gen's MK-hands, but gave Chun-li a cr.hp xx kicks? Not only that, but they made it like 10X worse than Gen's!
Dumbasses
Besides that, Sako did a badass way of buffering those kicks. nice.
I d like to see that updated tier list....Guile is nowhwere near A+ tier if you play him aggressively. You can forget it. Your best bet is to turtle up. His weaknesses are becoming more and more apparent as people learn the tick throw cheese magic go to attacks for their respective characters.
One day they will make Guile a combo machine to be feared again. One day.
p.s. wtf does Abel have guiles roll from CVS2. Abel is the most annoying f*cker in the game with his 0 frame throws and obnoxious 1 frame recovery rolling.
@jerseyfame
lol trying to protect guile when hes the easiest character to use in the entire game and bitching about abel, right....
abels good, but not guile good, the only thing that really felt unfair to me about abel for a bit was his ultra 2, which i later found out there are a vast amount of ways around that....
and guiles weaknesses are becoming more apparent my ass, as time goes by the more and more ridiculous guile seems
idiot
What the f**k..how can it be real..!
