The long running bug in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom that was resetting online player's battle points has been fixed. It was apparently a very tricky problem that took a while to isolate, but the team worked really hard together with Nintendo and fixed things on the server side, and were able to confirm that the glitch is really gone. The team is very relieved that they were able to fix it, and apologies that it took a long time. They send their thanks to Nintendo and everybody who worked on it.
While I know points issues don't prevent anyone from still enjoying the game online, I'm really glad we were able to solve this. Thanks to everyone who has supported the game, let us know about the issue, and stuck by us while we worked to solve it.
Also, a new graphic was thrown in as a bonus which explains the required battle point numbers to attain certain titles.

The netcode for TvC is quite good. However, TvC does not have any sort of penalty for those who disconnect/ragequit.
Sure, it's humorous on SSF4, especially since you can message the player and laugh at their stupidity, but on TvC, you're basically anonymous. So you can't really do anything except know that your Win Ratio is going down a little bit, and that retard just shut their Wii off just before you could get the game to confirm that they lost.
It's a MAJOR problem on TvC online.
I blame Nintendo for not being pro active on their online support. Im glad they worked with Capcom to get the bug fixed but because Nintendo is so hard arse on their philosophy about DLC and patches it makes it difficult for companies who make games for the Wii with online support. Hopfully on their next system they take a good look looooooooong and haaaaard about their Online gaming stratagies. Seems like the DS online is better than the Wii.
Great to see that this is fixed.
Now, to actually buy this and a Wii stick...
