There isn't much in the way of terribly exciting new stuff here, but you get to listen to the developers talk about the game for quite awhile, which is a good experience, although there are a few dry spots.
• There will be in game events with special endings, although this wasn't elaborated on.
• Capcom and Marvel allowed the writer of MvC3 to use their entire roster of characters for the storyline and endings.
• There will be new characters in this game that have never been playable in the Vs. series. Amartersu, Chris Redfield, Dante, etc. are examples.
• 43 minutes into the clip, they demo the new character themes for some of the roster, which lasts for about 5 minutes.
There are still plenty of things this game needs:
1) TAKE YOU 4 A RIDE
2) Bringing back the top tier characters in MvC2 including Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, and Cable
3) Less focus on the story, and more focus on character balance and online netcode
4) Squirrel Girl
5) Stan Lee as the announcer
6) Mickey Mouse as the final boss
I just want them to show Spider-Man/Deadpool/Dante in a team, with some awesome funny commentary between all of them.

1) No, that's an MvC2 song, this is MvC3, which is a sequel, not a remake. It stands alone and should have it's own memorable music. Also Take You For a Ride is awful. It's not like Let's Get It On from 3S which actually has verses and stands as a real song, TYFAR is just the same words over and over and looses it's novelty quickly.
2) Magneto, Storm, Cyclops = Yes. Sentinel and Cable = NOOOOO
3) They are not focusing on the story that much...by focusing on the story they mean they got an actual writer.
4) Agreed. She needs to be playable.
5) As an optional announcer.
6) No. Mickey isn't a Marvel or Capcom character. So by that logic, Sora from Kingdom Hearts could be in this game, because he is owned by Disney.
Yes, Marvel is owned by Disney but that doesn't mean the Disney can do whatever the hell they want with Marvel.
& developers have already discussed the whole thing, & said Disney has NO jurisdiction on Marvel when it comes to MVC3.

Yes new characters that weren't playable aka don't put storm,cable and sentinel in this! I could see magneto or cyclops but don't make em cheap and broken! It's annoying to see the same teams over and over again when playing online in mvc2 imagine the same thing in 3. That reminds of the new blazblue I bought it the other day and went to play online and everyone pics Rachel and v-12 or whatever the hell her name is. It's annoying.

They have an actual writer, his name is Frank Tieri
He's worked on various Marvel comics in the past most notably Wolverine. He is focusing on all the story in the game from beguinning to end and for each character in the game. He is also a Marvel Super Heroes (Fighter) fan.
This will be the most story heavy fighter in the vs. series but they have a team focused on the netcode and modes. They mention quite frequently they have a number of online and offline modes they have not revealed yet.
I am also curious of why they used War Machines theme instead of Iron Mans from MSH (They used Dooms obviously).
I do know that War Machine's theme IS a remix of Iron Mans theme from MSH but if War Machine is NOT in the game why not take the time to get the theme from Iron Man.
Makes me wonder what they will use for Hulks theme cuz I like MSH one vs. MvC1 version. same with Wolverine.

That was me playing that won the first match for Capcom. Probably the worst game I played for the entire of Comic-con. You can't hear it but pretty much everyone behind me was boo'ing (crying) about me picking hulk. I figured I might as well pick the team I used to win the tournament.
Anyway I had figured out that wave dash a little earlier that day. It's extremely easy to do and Dante isn't the only character that has one (deadpool has one I think, and possible felicia). To do it you you just dash with the stick in the direction you want to go and hit buttons for dash (light attack, medium attack).
Anyway my excuse for sucking is that I was trying new trish dante things for the first time because hulk is normally my main guy. =P
Where is Mega Man X and Nightcrawler?! 2 great characters with awesome powers that really deserve their chance and would really add to this game.if they bring anyone else back from 2,i hope its either (marvel: venom, blackheart, or shumagorath(capcom:capatain commando,jin,strider,they would look incredible in action with these 3d graphics.
i agree with Sektah84 dont same booty cheating characters on this game sential was a cheat and cable was to easy to play with.the only old char i see on this game is strider jin gambit and spiderman plus the char now. lol they should think about putting female on the marvel side. i'm saying new ones like elektra and squrrel girl. old females rouge and pyslock. no use for strom thor is better than her in everyway.
