in order to use the old alternate costumes from SFIV, do you have to buy em for the old sf and they'll be transfered or can you also buy em for SSFIV?

No, the real highlight is that they made a massive changelog of all characters, listing most changes from vanilla.

Hopefully we'll have that fully translated eventually.

Cammy, Ibuki, Cody, Sakura, C. Viper and Juri are my favorites so far. Some of the outfits look really out of place even for a SF game.

Also... what happens if people who didn't get SFIV want the old alt costumes? Capcom could sell them for Super, I don't see nothing wrong with that.

And a lot of the SFIV alts were really cool, like the one from Chun-Li, Cammy and Ryu.

Rose and Juri's costumes look amazing. Could someone tell me this, I preordered it from Amazon yet when I received my package this morning, it did not come with the code for the alternate costumes (Fei Long, Dhalsim, Guile, etc.) that Streetfighter.com had promised, what gives? Who do I contact about this?

Can someone explain chun-li's costume? Is it referencing anything, or is it just like...something cute for all the girls out there who want to be chun-li when they grow up lol? Rather than...sexy alt 1

Bison's is the only that made me go o_O but so many are badass, amusing, or just plain colorful and lively.

Some of the emails they sent you say that the code should come within a week or two after the game ships. It used to also say that on there website, but of course the offer isn't valid anymore.

I happen to love most costumes, i think they look superb for the most part!
My favorites are Cody, Vega, Zangief, Ryu, Makoto, Dee Jay, El Fuerte, Dan, Abel, Balrog, Guile and Juri

The only ones I don't like are Rufus and Gen.

They should just give Rufus an Elvis costume,that would be more appropiate than a chinese zombie.
And with Gen..a bit more difficult..but a mercenary Tao-ish costume(from Dragonball) would be cool imo.

I like how you don't get the references for Dan and Blanka, as blatantly obvious as it is.

The focus we should have is its 4 bucks per five characters. on the release date Makoto, Dudley, Guy, Hakan, and Deejay all got their outfit.

Once all outfits are out then there will be the savings pack. but with 35 characters that will be in 7 weeks. Thanks capcom, thanks.

If I were to over analyze things:

Ken - A cowboy was a candidate for the Hakan slot for awhile.
Rufus - They got the idea for costume while working on Hsien-Ko for the new Darkstalkers game.
Seth - He as a new damaged costume and his base has a new damaged version. Coincidence?
T-Hawk - A Powerstone game seems far fetched but there can be miracles, when you believe...
Adon - A MMA-ist was a candidate for the Hakan slot for a while.
Hakan - He took Ryu's clothes after raping him with his Oil Combination. Here I come!

Some of these look worse than custom skins made by the SF4 PC crowd...especially Zangief. I mean, WTF seriously...

The good ones IMO are Guile, Viper, Fei Long, Juri, Rose, Balrog, Ibuki, Cody, and Guy.

Bison is so dumb. Why not make a cool outfit capcom? Instead we get power ranger bison.

What if I like the Vanilla SF4 alts how do I get them in Super? My copy of SF4 is on the PC and I don't think the costumes would transfer over to the 360... or are the original alts included by default?

At first when i saw chun li's new outfit i was like ugh! but then taking another look at it i have a feeling it will grow on me(cause am still going to use it like crazy)but it really isnt that bad once u start using it. But chuns 1 alt is still the sexyist out of the three so GO THUNDER THIGHS!

I got my classic cotsume pack today with my pre order and let me tell you, Blanka's costume is one of the best in the game. Also if you put on glasses with Guile's second alt, he puts on goggles instead haha but the first alt has regular sun glasses. Was hoping he would put on Charlie's glasses :/

Lol Balrog's a pimp! how didn't anybody see that? I like that street fighter put such redickulous costumes. It can really destract a guy during a fight to be dressed in a cowboy outfit, especially when you are Ken.

Ryu- Meh i get what they were shooting at, but i wish they would have gone for civilian clothes

Ken- i don't mind ken being a cowboy i would have rather seen him in a business suit
