Balrog, Gen, Cody, Fei Long, Dee Jay, Honda, and Adon's themes were amazing, seriously, good job Capcom!!
However, Guy's theme sounds like a 70s game show theme, I wish they would of kept the theme from the trailer.

Balrog's theme is sick. I'm not usually into electronic music, but that remix is exciting as hell. Open these both at the same time and watch the match, it just goes.

I noticed some of the themes like Cody's, Dudley's, and Hakan's are different from the trailers, are we ever going to hear those versions again? It's a shame because I liked the original versions more. I'm hoping maybe this time around character themes have dynamic changes in the music's pace based on events in the match (both players have ultra, a player is low on stamina) like stage themes—they didn't in IVanilla's rival battles—and that the original versions are being included that way. Of course, that would require creating new mixes for every single one of the character themes, which is a lot of effort.

The trailer songs were remixes with these on top of a single theme not unique to the characters. So all of you asking for the trailer theme, you're basically asking for them to all share one general theme with their own layered over the top of it. These are all awesome. Guh Jov, Capcom!

I'm actually with you there, I really liked Street Fighter IV's character select theme. Unfortunately, it was actually an instrumental version of Indestructible, and Capcom probably figured fans wanted that gone in every capacity.

I'll say it again the music in SF4 is a huge improvement from SF4. Gen and ibuki's themes are a bit of a letdown though. Dudley's theme is awesome. Adon's theme is probably the best in the game.

Just as I suspected, after a few days I'm liking just about everything, and even what I hated before is now at least bearable. But I believe the new stage tracks deserve special attention; I didn't think anything could dissuade me from using character themes now that they added the option, but I was wrong. It would practically be a mortal sin to play on the crumbling laboratory stage without the music.
