Capcom of Japan held a huge Street Fighter 4 tournament, where they also announced the arcade release of SSF4.1st: Momochi (Akuma), RF (Sagat), Kindevu (Rufus)
2nd: MDR (Rufus), Pamyu (Balrog), Hisshou (Sagat)
3rd: Mago (Sagat), Tokido (Akuma), Akimo (E. Honda)
4th: Eita (Akuma), Maeda Taison (Balrog), Rikuson (Sagat)
sure he will go makoto ? akuma kinda got better with ryu and sagat out of the way
MDR's Rufus OCV Daigo's entire team of Ryu, Sagat and Akuma. That's some skill.
MDR also OCV Eita's team, I think.
MDR was only probably the MVP of the tournament and was unstoppable until he faced Momochi.
Also, RF's Sagat also OCV Mago's team.

Any vids are going to be posted in utube or is it already been posted somewhere else? I also believe momochi needs to stick with Akuma cause Makoto isnt going to be high tier IMO
why blame players for using the strongest characters? they want to win, blame capcom for knowing the problem and left it there

Actually my evil brother, he might be right. Sagat and Ryu got nerfed, but Akuma doesnt seem to be much different in ssf4. If you looked at the latest sf4 tier list Akuma was already in 3rd place. Maybe Sagat and Ryu did get "out of his way" in ssf4. We will see in 23 days...

akumas ultras blow and his uppercuts are nerfed, its harder to link that st. HK into combos, and he has exceedingly high health. idk man, well have to see...
Whoever said that Honda player did well, guys have you ever though of the fact the OTHER two players might have been good and that the Honda really only had to play the matches that got them into their position of third.
Anyway 4 Sagats 3 Akumas 2 Rufus and 2 rogs with 1 honda

At this level of competition you'd be a fool to not choose the better characters. Id love to see a Dan player step up and destroy the competition, but lets face it, its not going to happen. Not because people cant play Dan at a high level, but because an equally skilled player on a better character will win, flat out. Accept it and move on with your lives.
I know its annoying to me as well.is sf4 SERIOUSLY the 1st f..king game you guys have seen where people pick the best characters to try to win???besides their newsflash guys the japanese dont use console characters.which leaves about what 16 different characters to pick.among those:rog,sagat,ryu,rufus.thats 4 top tier characters,wtf do u guys expect???EVERYONE in japan to play el fuerte or claw to challenge themselves??do you complainers think before you complain,or just start complaining??

Momochi is the bomb. Probably my favorite SFIV player. I can't wait to see what he can do with Makoto in SSFIV.
