Mega Man-inspired Street Fighter 4 sprites by SpeedBrkr

SpeedBrkr posted some nifty Street Fighter IV artwork inspired by the sprites in the 8-bit Mega Man games. Take a look.

Row 1: Abel, Akuma, Balrog, Bison, Blanka
Row 2: C. Viper, Cammy, Chun-Li, Dan, Dhalsim
Row 3: E. Honda, El Fuerte, Fei Long, Gen, Gouken
Row 4: Guile, Ken, Rose, Rufus, Ryu
Row 5: Sagat, Sakura, Seth, Vega, Zangief

And just to throw it back a little more, he also added a couple additional images to showcase his work.

GJ, but Guile no flattop is a crime.

Also kinda limiting to Mega's sprite sized, not taking liberties like with the MegaMan bosses different shapes, as such Zangief is looking puny.

VegaMan, GenMan, FuerteMan, DanMan,
RogMan, HondaMan, KenMan, BlankaMan

8 master bosses, and sound like they could be.

SethMan - Wily final boss creation?

Beat VegaMan, you've got claw attacks, or shoot some claws. KenMan, get Flame SRK. Rog - Dash Punches, like HardMan Punch shots too. Electric jump ball w/ Blanka like TopMan's move.

Sagat and M. Bison look awesome! Rose looks fat and Honda looks thin. Vega's a bit hard to recognize. But they are all cool!

Why is Darksydephil not on the character select menu? Thanks to DSP, Capcom was able to sell another 20,000 copies of the horrible game known as LAGFIGHTER IV.

I will be tweaking the sprites here and there over the next week so look forward to some more polish on these sprites!

Good, Gouken could use some less nonsense size. Being bigger than Honda and almost Gief is crazy. But see the shading of his muscle tone?

How are you expecting to see red underwear from such an angle?

If you really need that, move your perv eyes directly to Zangief.

Wow really cool stuff. Gief could be bigger though ;). Would go crazy if someone made a megaman hack out of this though.

a lot of these are off of gootecks.com forums. one of our members apex started the trend and then many others started posting there own.
