Following in the footsteps of Ryota Niitsuma, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom's game director, Hidetoshi Ishizawa, is also blogging. He made an entry which Capcom-Unity posted. Here's the interesting stuff.
Anyway, the Japanese release of "Ultimate All-Stars" is now confirmed! The concept of "Ultimate All-Stars" was to bring "Cross Generation of Heroes" to the western territories, therefore the Japanese version of the game wasn't in the plan at first.
R&D was scheduled for making character names, gameplay features, and all those naming etc. in English, but having in mind that there might be possibility or even hope? of selling the game in Japan... as well as that, we need to make it in Japanese first anyway so that we can check everything ourselves before the game gets localized. So yes, R&D had plans... :D
[...] As you know, Tokyo Game Show 2009 is next week.
As it says on the Official Capcom Homepage, the game won't be playable at the booth, but there will be a stage presentation!!
At TGS, there will be some new info revealed from Niitsuma-san, and I will be doing something on the stage as well. It's been a long time since I last was on a stage, so I'm a little nervous :p
[...] As a matter of fact, we are in the last check before master submission. R&D is doing their best, so please look forward to the game!!
The new information at TGS could very well be the accidentally leaked characters, but Ishizawa also added that the game is in the last check before master submission, which more than likely means we'll see this title before the end of 2009, as previously mentioned.
