Well, RagingDemon015 built a Lego based version of Akuma based off these images, and it turned out pretty well. Hit this thread on the Capcom-Unity forums for more images.
SpeedBrkr also pointed out this video of sWooZie doing a wooden statue of Ryu. Very cool.
