Fan art for SSF4 packaging possible, but timing an issue

Fan art for SSF4 packaging possible, but timing an issue

Capcom's Seth Killian fielded a few questions on the Unity Boards covering subjects such as new fan art for Super Street Fighter 4's packaging, events in Montreal and contacting staff members.

I loved the fan art on the inside of the Street Fighter 4 packaging, and I was wondering if you had any plans for a similar thing for Super?

Seth: The art was indeed extremely rad. Another fan-art contest is a possibility at this point, with the only issue being timing again — we have a lot less lead time with Super Street Fighter 4 than we did with the original, which makes executing some of the more fun programs like this hard (you wouldn't believe how long some of these things take).

Could this be a new Ultra for El Fuerte in Super Street Fighter 4?

Seth: Videogames have to let reality win once in a while, right? :)

Could it be possible that Montreal has had or could have a Capcom Street Fighter event?

Seth: [...] We have no plans at the moment for an event in Montreal. We'd love to do as many as we can in as many places as possible, but it just becomes difficult in terms of costs (shipping stuff across continents is amazingly expensive, not to mention shipping people/staff).

Often times we try to have events at/near other shows we're already attending, to try and open up what we're doing to the fans, without breaking the bank by doubling or tripling already significant costs. Since most games shows tend to be in places like NYC, LA, Vegas, and San Francisco (and Tokyo), that's where you'll find us most often, but not because we don't love you too.

If I wish to contact staff members, is Capcom-Unity really the place? People like Ryota Niitsuma, TvC's producer, are quite hard to get in touch with...

Seth: Some Japanese staff read these forums, and in other cases we translate questions for fans to staff. Although we have done that hundreds of times, we unfortunately we can't do that in every case (they do have jobs, after all, and translators don't grow on tress (except for old applehead adam, of course, the translating apple).

Have you checked to see whether your questions have been answered elsewhere? Also he was taking questions over in the Tatsunoko Vs Capcom forums a few weeks ago...

Fan Art Competition!
Unfortunately I was Missing this competition last time but I am thinking This Time I am in the Knowing!
I Will begin work On A MasterPiece of my main fighting Ken!!
Perhaps I will make an Interesting Picture of my main fighting Ken and my secondary main fighting Blanka doing something enjoyable Like A Quick round of Volleyball but Ken has Set the ball on Fire and Blanka is shielding it From Him with His Mighty Electric!

I think this would make good picture!

Chanz posts are better than even Chris Hu, the "SFIV Match Commentator of the year."

"Could Americans do commentating in Chinese anywhere near as good? Nope."
