Got to say, I am happy that Cody is in but there is just something not quite right about his look.
Also, the new official artwork is pretty lame compared to the black ink sploge artwork on SF4.

I hope with the addittion of these guys people will switch up from Ryu when online.

I don't think that Hugo will be in the game, in the picture of Cody his model looks pretty cheap like he is supposed to just be a background character but it would be cool if he was.

However Capcom said they had some problem with T.Hawk and his height because some characters weren't able to jump over him and Hugo is even taller than T.Hawk but as I wrote earlier it would still be cool. Would be real fun to fight Hugo vs. Zangief :)

The characters in the background on the air field stage look cheap too. SO i dont see that as prrof of him not being in. And as for his hieght, that isnt a problem. They can just make him t hawks hieght.I dont play grapplers but i really want to see more non qcf/qcb characters. What they really need to do is add more chargers.

I think its just traditiion to have Hugo in the Bg's of Final Fight characters. He was in Guy's stage in Alpha 2 and 3, and on a billboard on Cody's Alpha 3 stage. It would be amazing if he made it but i reckon that ship has sailed! Pity

The first picture of Cody in the second column (the one where Cody and Chun Li are kicking at the same time) looks a little....off. Just think about it, if your right hand was in front of your face and your left hand was positioned behind you, wouldn't the chain from the handcuffs go around the left side of your body? Capcom has a lot of time left to develop the game so here's hoping they fix the chain problems.

I'm confused. Isn't the Alpha series supposely the prequel to SFI? Hence Charlie hasn't died and Ken and Ryu are younger. If that's the case, adding Adon, Guy and Cody to SSFIV doesn't make sense to me as far as keeping the regular and Alpha series separate.

Im sure Capcom is very aware of Cody's hadcuff problem. I doubt they would of even had them in the game if they thought they couldn't make it perfect for us. The early street fighter 4 videos had simalr problems but they managed to fix them all that I saw.

Adon will probably be under-represented. But he is a beast, some of the best normals and one of the best AA Normals ever and good mind games. Cody looks fine. Guy looks fine. Game will rock.

About Cody's chain. They could adjust the simulation so it won't crash through his geometry but likely that would cause problems on the animation side. Which is why they chose the lesser of the two evils. Props to Capcom for even bothering with it.

Bull. There is evidence. Tons of it, for each character thats been announced so far. I wasnt surprised when Cody Guy and Adon got announced. Early fan polls, UDON Comics, the rumor list, quotes from staff. There was buttloads of evidence. I knew. You knew. Everyone who keeps up with this stuff knew. Ibuki, Makoto, Dudley and Hakan are next. You dont have to be an ace-detective to figure it out.

While I have seen the report too, you don't know jack about inside info in Capcom, and it is always possible something get cut out of the development due to time and money constraint. Making assumptions based on some old rumors is kind of stupid. It will be nice to have 4 more characters but you don't have any real proof.

Capcom is confirming 3 characters so late in the year so that speculation, which is the cornerstone of hype, can grow and get people all excited. They are also doing it so that people can linger on the different sets of characters. Next, what is "so late in the year"? Who cares what date the information comes in at? The game releases in Spring. They have MONTHS before they are even expected to have all their facts out there. And finally, while it is true that monetary constraints or imposing deadlines might give a character the boot; which characters even have candicacy for boot-get, will not change. The characters that will be in the game are and have been decided. It is too late in the development cycle to change the expected roster and as such characters who have fact supporting their return (or appearance as the case may be) are the ones who can be safely assumed upon. My point is that you can know with a more than marginal amount of certainty what characters will get in, if you look at their supporting evidence.

probably in the beginning, but Guy's playstyle isn't easy to use well in the Alpha series, so it probably won't be here as well. After 1 or 2 months you will see the casuals abandon him and the hardcore will most likely go for the high tiers. I believe Guy wasn't too high in the Alpha series.

Everything's turning out real cool with these "Super" upgrades. Anyhow, Cody...I liked him in Alpha 3 and what not, but it would be cool to see him with his signature blue jeans and white t-shirt. Alternate costume? His prison suit is a little boring. You figured an escaped convict would have whacked some one on the street for some new clothes by now. LoL.

Adon Seems To Be a very acrobatic fighting! Almost maybe as tricky as is my main fighting Ken!
I Am Not planning to be making him my main fighting but I am thinking he will Be Very Fun to use when I Am Not training for the evo 2010 that I am hoping for invitiation to!

Adon looking the best, or even most % complete if you think of it that way.

Guy's close HP from the target combo looks way too different from old. That could change or get tightened up. And if not I'll get used to it.

And players here soo latched up on Cody's handcuff chain movement. Not even mentioning its looking more ridiculous just being such a wide chain now in 3D. Here's hoping his Alt costume loses it completely.

Speculation:
Guy picture #8, an attack that's hitting Rose after passing thru? Like a Gen delay hit Super?

Not the exact same and doesn't need to be a Super, but could be Special move instead or just camera work showing off in debug mode who knows. More moves for Guy, not a bad thing though.

I don't really like Birdie, his design was terrible and he was really weak. Of course, they could tweak him, add some moves to make him not just a combo of Balrog and Zangief, and he could be good.

I hope Cody's alternate isn't his Final Fight outfit. That looked so terrible. White tucked in shirt and tight jeans? Gross. I like his jail outfit better, although it's still not great.

Also Cody's girlfriend probably didn't approve of his actions so he's so miserable. Guy's engaged/married to Maki's sister, I think.

Anyways, on a first look i like all of these 3 new chars. They all have the possibility for rushdown.

But that cody guy just doesn't seem to fit in the streetfighter universe. He looks like he escaped from Tekken. But they all seem nice to play.
