Special offer for TE FightSticks on Amazon has ended
xXxEtown let me know that the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 Round 1 Tournament Edition FightSticks were for sale on Amazon.com for $99, which included free shipping, but that offer has expired.
Now the sticks are only $20 off.
If the Standard Edition FightStick is more you thing, the buy one get one free offer is still available on GameShark.com.

What's the difference between Tournament and Standard editions?
Posted by @Rand on November 26, 2009 at 4:01 p.m. #5
TE sticks are better and cost more.
Basically.
Google it, man.

Bought!
#4: Tournament edition is an exact arcade replica. Standard edition is still good quality, but not as good.

Posted by bill69 on November 26, 2009 at 10:40 p.m. #17
Slippery clankety diarrhea for 100 dollars straight to your door anyone?
sorry to be the downer comment but some advice
go to home depot and get some wood, build a sturdy stand with weight so that $hite don't go slippin all over the place, and build a controller with parts from the Happ website and take apart a used wired 360 or ps3 controller, ( gonna need a soldering iron )plenty of instructions online, and get the happ perfect 360 laser joystick with octagonal or diamond restrictor plates. now thats a controller

Or just pay the $99 and invest the time in stocks and get back more without having to break a sweat to build your own joystick.

just paid 77 bucks to gameshark for two ps3 fight sticks
i like the TE (play it all the time at my buddies) but you can't beat the price for the fight stick! I'll give it a week, if i don't like em i'll sell both and buy one TE
Posted by ieswk on November 27, 2009 at 2:44 a.m. #23
Dammit the prices went back up before i could purchase one and i dont wanna risk buying the ps3 version from gameshark and it doesnt work on my pc :(

In my opinion, the modded SE (which is very easy to do) is better than the TE, assuming you're going to use it as a lap stick. TE is just unnecessarily large.
And somebody up there mentioned HAPP. I don't think a super-stiff stick is the way to go for SF4, but if you mod the SE with a Seimitsu LS-56, stick a bat top and a circular gate on it, you'll have a feel that's pretty much the same as HAPP.
