Seth: TvC sequel is more likely than port for 360/PS3

Capcom's Seth Killian and Christian Svensson visited the Unity Boards to reiterate that if Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is ported to the PlayStation 3 or XBox 360, it would more than likely be a sequel, and they also touched on a few other topics.

Here's what they had to say.

Are there any plans to release Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the XBox 360 or PlayStation 3?

Seth: As before, no plans to port TvC to X360 or PS3. It was developed on the Wii, it will stay on the Wii.

Obviously if the game sells 200 billion units, we would probably eventually port it to your car radio, but even then, as we've said, a sequel would have the best chance of being multiplatform.

Do these two articles mean we'll be seeing more re-released fighters from Capcom?

Sven: Seth's answer at EventHubs actually explains why having so many of these fighters ISN'T likely to happen, at least on any near term time horizon.

How would someone become an at home tester for Capcom?

Sven: "At home" testing, doesn't exist. Real testing happens in offices... We have some in-house testers but we also outsource a fair amount to VMC [Game Labs] in Montreal.

Yeah, I'd rather see a full sequel to TvC on PS3/360, as well as a CvS3, new Darkstalkers, & possibly new Rival Schools on PS3/360 as well. The Wii can have TvC and that rumored Nintendo Vs. Capcom game though. The PS3/360 also has the SFIV series, BlazBlue series, and plenty of other fighters here and there on disc and as DLC.

What does the Wii have besides TvC? A KoF and Samurai Shodown compilation and Smash Bros. SNK and Capcom haven't even ported all those PS2 ported fighters to it, it's too bad.
