New feature: Weekend events in the community
To better prepare the community for upcoming fighting game tournaments, you can check EventHubs.com on Wednesday nights to see a recap of what's taking place that weekend.
Here's what's going on from Nov. 21 - 22, 2009.
• Sunnyvale, California: NorCal Regionals, Nov. 21 & 22. Featuring top California players, plus Seth Killian will also be on hand. This is going to be a big event which will have a live stream.
• Brooklyn, New York: BattleField Arcadia #8, Nov. 22. Street Fighter 4 event is a 2vs2 team set up featuring players like Justin Wong, Sanford Kelly and Damdai. Sounds like this tournament will be streamed.
• Atlanta, Georgia: Impact Clash V, Nov. 21. Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6 matches will be on uStream.
• Nashville, Tennessee: Street Fighter IV singles tournament, Nov. 21.
• Jacksonville, Florida: Storm Gaming League, Nov. 21. Free tournament.
• Wichita, Kansas: Wichita Fall Brawl, Nov. 21.

Although I am not of America I would think many of Americans will be appreciating this feature very much!
I am very glad to see that Many Tournaments are being held So Regularly for the people of American.
Now to be taking this regular spirit of competition and spreading it over the world!!

remember back in the day when there were only like 2 tournaments in a year?
Posted by TN on November 19, 2009 at 10:57 a.m. #27
There are actually quite a few tourneys in TN, go to the Tennessee page on SRK and chat up to find the scene.
Posted by Boots on November 19, 2009 at 11:16 a.m. #28
Seconding TN's comment. OMG: There is a healthy scene in TN and it's continuing to grow. Yeah, just hit us up on srk in the regional thread and see what's up.
Plus, if you are in West Tennessee, that's close to Memphis. There is a huge scene there. They are more into Tekken and Gear, but they play SF as well.

They'd better announce at one of these events that they're changing Deejay's MGU back to a charge, so the morons on here can stop saying mashing is good!!!!
Posted by fofosho on November 19, 2009 at 3:25 p.m. #31
