PlayStation Blog interviews S. Killian concerning SSF4
In yet another interview about Super Street Fighter 4 today, the PlayStation blog discussed the game with Capcom's Community Manager, Seth Killian. Here's the embedded clip.
The semi-new things talked about here are.
- T. Hawk is formidable. According to Seth he's going to be the new Zangief.
- There will be new menu and user-interface screens.
- Characters will be re-balanced not by decreasing their effectiveness, but by increasing it instead. Although this was stated before, it's worth noting that this slightly conflicts with comments Ono has made in other interviews that Sagat and Seth would be nerfed.
- New trials in this game, for those of you who love Challenge Mode.

other thing is only 2 bonus stage that they will be adding the 3rd one the metal barrels on fire or not...just want to know

I assume Seth meant that tongue-in-cheek, since all Zangief is good for is beating scrubs in low-level play. His tournament record, whether in the US or Japan, sucks.

Translation: projectile spam is still the order of the day.

If I remember correctly, but don't quote me on this, I believe it was mentioned if you bought the alt costumes for SF4 you won't have to for SSF4

the trials were helpful for me online but i was hoping you didnt have to do them again
but the time/survival trials were a waste of time.

LOL projectiles suck in this game. If u want fireball spam play turbo. Fireballs are so easy to get around in this its silly.

I could not Watch video but I Have read Summary Thank You EventHubs and Seth Killian.
I am appreciative of Challenge Trials for they always help to Improve Execution and create new Ideas in many minds as to what are the possibilities with characters!

Dear Seth Killian:
Please make the Hard Trials harder this time. Only C. Viper, Ken, and Gen's hard trials were even moderately challenging.
Also, please make sure that in SSF, there's an icon and title specifically for achieving 100% completion in the game. I've gotten the platinum trophy and there's no way to show it off using the titles and icons.

@Sagat Stronger: Making characters stronger usually means making the weaker characters stronger. Many professional fighting game players don't like nerfing, because it's not really fair to make a character stop working the way they're supposed to. Sagat will likely remain the same.

I bet by "making Sagat better" means that his 2nd Ultra is good. That being said, making weaker characters better will probably mean more than that.

Lol Chickenwing's never played SF4 before. How cute. I suppose having him be wrong about how the games works is better than his never-ending whining about Dee Jay's MGP.

I like the idea of everyone in ssf4 being really good instead of characters getting nerfed, i think it will make for a more fun and diverse game, and if were lucky maybe this will be the god tier GOD TIER(NONE*)
