this is nice but i wonder why Capcom hasn't released any new information yet. I've heard this information a few times already.

Posted by junebug on November 16, 2009 at 3:37 p.m. #5

the channel select has syu doing the shin shoryuken again... or at least it seems that way.

Posted by Quancro on November 16, 2009 at 3:38 p.m. #6

i thing thats is the new ryu's ultra... i bet

Posted by cuttyb87 on November 16, 2009 at 3:39 p.m. #7

Is Gouken doin a shoryuken or is he doing his super and is that one of his new moves?

and I seriously don't think they would give us new characters until early next year

Posted by @cuttyb87 on November 16, 2009 at 3:42 p.m. #8

I really hope that you're wrong.

Posted by shichi on November 16, 2009 at 3:45 p.m. #9

it's scary to admit I'm going to miss the SF4 announcer

"wheres dudley"

STFU

Posted by FlareUK on November 16, 2009 at 3:48 p.m. #11

Check the II on Juri's Ultra meter. That's a first. SFIII style selectable ultras are a go!

Posted by FlareUK on November 16, 2009 at 3:52 p.m. #12

Also notice it says "All playable SFIV characters will be unlocked out of the box" not ALL Characters will be unlocked out of the box. Interesting.

Posted by @FlareUK on November 16, 2009 at 4:13 p.m. #13

Yeah it said all sf4 characters not SSF4

Posted by HyperbattleGO on November 16, 2009 at 4:15 p.m. #14

I completely agree with you shichi. It's gonna take time to get used to the new announcer. D:

Posted by BIRDIE! on November 16, 2009 at 4:21 p.m. #15

NEEDS MORE BIRDIE

COME ON! Make the dude like, part of Ruffus' Biker Gang! That'd be so good ^___________^

Posted by Ryu go! on November 16, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. #16

I think the when the meter fills up you'll see the II instead of the I, I don't think the ultra is selectable.

Posted by @ #16 on November 16, 2009 at 4:38 p.m. #17

Except that Deejay and Akuma has full ultra bars and they both say I.

Posted by Mune on November 16, 2009 at 5:14 p.m. #18

Kimochi yogata, darou? ;)

Posted by hahadamn on November 16, 2009 at 5:44 p.m. #19

I'm going to the miss the old announcer too. Hopefully, it's an option.

Posted by Lolento on November 16, 2009 at 6:31 p.m. #20

Please, go back to the previous announcer :( This one is like breeding him with a Brawndo ad.

The problem with him is not the voice, it's that he just doesn't stop talking!
Just give us an announcer option:
- Normal: SFIV-style announcer, lots of talking
- Brief (or Classic): something closer to the post-SFII announcers. He'd just say things like "Select your character" (a short sentence, not "The world's fiercest fighters yadda yadda"), "K.O.!", "___ wins!", not much more.
- None: for those who prefer no announcer at all.

Posted by Kenshiro on November 16, 2009 at 6:36 p.m. #21

Please PLEASE have the Final Fight car owner come out and say "Ohhhh My Caaa" while crying on his knees! Classic. Love the Mayor Mike billboard in the background, too.

I'm not sure what to think of that Metsu Shoryuken screenshot. The camera angle is weird, the background is a bit odd (new training room?), both characters have ultra (could just be the training mode setting, but that's a first for their screenshots and videos), and the HUD is old-style (the weirdest part of the pic, considering every other single pic until today already had the updated ultra gauges).

Not to mention in that original video you couldn't see the ultra/super gauges, so it's suspicious to say it's just another scene from the same movie.

at 22...

you should know that picture has been altered, i believe the original picture is still on eventhubs, you should go look.

capcom does this with all the images whenever they release something accidentally

they delete posts, delete pictures, delete videos

i guess when they put this back up, they just had to change that portion of the picture...look how bright it is in comparison to the others...

Posted by lolz on November 16, 2009 at 9:17 p.m. #24

the reason the shoryuken picture looks brighter than the others is because thats the one currently selected read the text below it

Posted by on November 16, 2009 at 9:28 p.m. #25

graphics look terrible, although that is to be expected when it's played on a console

Posted by Geese on November 16, 2009 at 10:01 p.m. #26

Where IS Dudley, he is he reason why I ACTUALLY want to buy this.

Posted by FlareUK on November 16, 2009 at 11:52 p.m. #27

@16 - The II is showing when her meter is less than half full.

Posted by IrPanda on November 17, 2009 at midnight #28

For who ever asked if gouken is doing a srk or super i would have to say super from that long line coming from his arm.

Posted by Screen shot #16 on November 17, 2009 at 4:16 a.m. #29

What is that symbol by DeeJays face?

Posted by anon on November 17, 2009 at 8:40 a.m. #33

Oh Haggar is on the billboard in the back too. Lol whoops didn't notice that.

Posted by Ryan on November 17, 2009 at 8:58 a.m. #34

I would like to see Hagar 10 to 1 over cody and guy.
Hagar is a beast! Gotta love his Burt Reynolds stash.
