The folks at SonicHurricane.com have put together a video showing some wacky combos with El Fuerte and Zangief in Street Fighter 4.

Seems like most of these are very very conditional.

They're not meant to be practical, just funny little combos :)

more examples of awesome combos made useless and worthless by the insane damage scaling... whats the point capcom if playing practically, is doing 2-4 hit combos..

^^^agree with classy and that's what makes Sagat such a powerhouse. 3 hit combos that complete p33n your opponent...

sounds very stupid in English

+1 to classy up there man... damage scaling hits sooooo hard.. theres really no point in doing any more hit combos than 3 or 4...

You DO realise that El Fuerte is set to Japanese? and that everything he says in the Japanese version is still in english right?

As does Zangief, and that win phrase was Russian. And Zangief's english dub>>>>japanese.

The El Fuerte in the video is using the English voice -_-

And I beg to differ about Zangief's English voice being better. Ultimate Final Atomic Buster sounds much more fierce with the Japanese voice to point out something obvious.

If you manage to pause at just the right moment you'll see Rose get hit by Geif's jab as Geif is hit by the soul spark.

This Fuerte is set to English. The Japanese voice is a generic guy who doesn't even know how Spanish sounds like. Heck, he can't even pronounce the name of the character.

damage scaling is I suppose for those who want to be able to do combos without having the match ended instantly. I hate watching a single combo stream dizzy someone and then repeat the combo again and become a 100% life ending combo finish. Those can be hard to pull off, but the fact that they're doable by some players makes it lame. With damage scaling, you can still show off your skills and display to the crowd your abilities without having to fully kill off the round in 10-15 seconds.

the damage scaling is like forcing someone who is good to lower their handicap like in versus mode so people who are new to the game have a chance. It kind of doesn't matter to me in a way.

@#11

I personally like Fuerte's and Gief's english voices better. Fuerte actually sounds MEXICAN and Gief actually sounds RUSSIAN.

@11 ah sorry my bad i thought Gief was the only one i set to english. so... thats.. Gief, Fuerte, Guile I set to english then. I agree with the accents! they're pretty good huh.

I've set characters that are Asian to Japanese voices, and everyone else to English. It makes so much more sense that way. Why would Cammy be speaking Japanese? Why would Rufus?
