BattleField Arcadia 7 tournament results
TFGM provided the results for the recent BattleField Arcadia tournament. Here's the recap.
Street Fighter 4
1. Justin Wong (Fei Long, Rose)
2. Arturo "Sabin" Sanchez (Dhalsim, Seth)
3. Sanford "Santhrax" Kelly (Akuma, Cammy, Sagat)
4. Rico (Abel)
5. Andre "Jago" Lambert (M. Bison)
5. Chris Hu (Ryu)
7. Jav1ts (Balrog)
7. Aulord (Cammy)
Highlights:
• Sanford holds his own against Arturo in Losers Finals but is taken out 2-3 by Arturo. Solid Akuma and Dhalsim play.
• Justin Wong's Fei Long takes out Arturo's Seth in the Grand Finals.
• Rico defeats Andre in tournament for the first time.
• Aulord takes out Joe "ILOVEU" Ciaramelli, shocking.
• Chris Hu defeats Sanford's Sagat but is utterly destroyed by his Cammy.

Arturo says Dhalsim sucks..
He has no experience against console characters, and thats why he lost against Justin.
Even tho he uses a console character.. Seth right?

Funny Sanford holds his own versus Art but beat him in evo.
Rico doesn't surprise me and Aulord does not surprise me.Don't get me wrong Art and Andre are beast but just because a player gets less press or does not put their matches on youtube.Doesn't mean they are not as good.This is like when fuson beat ross or before UTJ became household.

It's cool seeing Justin showing off what the console characters can do lately. He knows they are going to be put on a more equal playing field with the rest of the cast in Super SFIV and is starting early.

@ post #8 Tekken 6 is a great game wether you have online or not it got plenty of gameplay with scenario and Arcade which you earn tittles similar to Tekken 5 a movie galery survival mode time attack and 40 character to choose from also the edit mode is more elaborate to customize the character so is really worth a buy

Justins Rose wasnt really on par, dont get me wrong the dude set himself up nicely for the BnB's, and took the Balrog he was playing for a dickhead, but it didn't seem like Justin playing as he was that reluctant to attack but then again i think it'd be scary if he beasted with every character he laid hands on...However when he brought Rufus and Fei back into the fray he looked unstoppable as usual.

I watched this tournament.. and plenty of others..
I'm just wondering, does Arturo ever adapt? or Change his methods at all?
The first fight against Justin Wong's Fei Long he kept getting hit after Justin constantly jump-guessed he was gonna throw a fireball. and was constantly put in the corner..
I just dont see how a 'professional gamer' gets constantly hit by the same thing. Really.

I'm not hating on Justin but I find it very annoying how everytime I'm training new mains, Justin uses them in tournaments. I was training my Fei Long and Rose when I read this and when he fought Daigo, I was training Rufus, Balrog, and Abel.

Arturo knew he was gonna lose if he used dhalsim and hes dhalsim is "Suppose" to be on Par with the Japanese after hes trip to Japan. So to save face, he used Seth (his 2nd best character) to lose against Jwong. He also added that he doesnt know how to play against console characters when hes dhalsim got owned by Gen. Oh wait, isnt Seth is a console character.

yea ILOVEU Joe losing really isn't shocking. i don't know if you (eventhubs) was being sarcastic but you guys should prevent yourselfs from giving comments like that.
you guys probably said it NOT to be D-bags but in the end when people think about it sorta does. i don't think its worth it but you should edit that.
