Arstechnica.com is reporting that Street Fighter IV sold 849,000 units in February 2009 for both systems.
The XBox 360 edition moved 446,000 copies and the PlayStation 3 version sold 403,000.
This puts these releases in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, on the top 10 video game sales for the month.
There's been whispers that the game would have sold a lot better if Mad Catz had made more of their sticks and controllers available, but that seems like complete speculation to me. While I'm sure it didn't help the game's sales overall, I don't think most people waited to pick up this title because they couldn't get one of their controllers.
I just think they're stuck playing on the crappy default pads for the time being. :P
