HD Remix patch rolling out to overseas players
A few reports are coming in that people in some countries outside of the U.S.A. are downloading a large 303 megabyte update for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix on their PS3s — most assume this is the patch we've been patiently waiting for.
Capcom V.P., Christian Svensson, mentioned on March 9, 2009 that, "It [the patch] should prop 'soon.' I'm not wholly sure when though as I haven't had an update. It's been in for approval with Microsoft and Sony for some time now."
Last I heard, these updates take roughly a couple of weeks to go through, and judging from Christian's quote, we should be seeing this any day now.
You can scope out the full details on what the patch will fix here.
If you're prompted to download the patch, please leave a comment on this story with the console machine you use and the country you're located in so others know when they can download it as well.

Prompted to download update 1.10 (303mb) on Playstation Network, and I'm in Ireland. Haven't checked the 360 yet.

I bet it was part of the agreement with SCEE in order to have STHDR released in Europe despite all the bugs and glitches, to release the patch asap there. Good move SCEE :)

Any news on how the game plays now? Are bugs fixed online better?

Apologies if this is too off-topic, but I thought this might be a good place to ask this question. If I'm playing online, how do I 'quit' to go back to the main menu, short of pressing the "PS" button and exiting the game entirely?
And I don't mean that I want to quit DURING a match, I meant even after I've played a match there doesn't seem to be an option to 'quit' back to the main menu. I'm presented with a win/loss screen against my opponent for a few seconds, and then I'm taken right back to the character selection screen again, with no option to go back to the main menu.
Am I missing something very basic here?
Thanks!

@ aylien:
Usually it's Circle (or B on 360) after the win/loss screen and it'll prompt you if you want to leave the session/lobby, but you have to be quick, it depends on how ready the opponent is.

Does anyone find that the North American Version of HD Remix is much harder in difficulty than the European / Australasian Version?
I played both and I see a hell of a difference.

When you make a comment like this Cyked put some actual info in the post. FFS Imagine if everyone decided to post without thinking before doing so. So i guess ill have to ask something like what system you were playing and what modes you compared to not come off like a prick even though i doubt you will post back. Comments are there so you can post on the subject and ask serious questions not for two sentences that you thought up while jerking it to fond memories of your cousin.

how is this game for the 360?
do you get it off xbl marketplace?

yea you get it off the marketplace. its a good fighting game with an insane amount of depth. The only real problems with the game is whats being fixed in the patch and sometimes unbearable lag which rarely happens if you have a decent connection.
