Fei Long's infinite combo loop in Street Fighter 4

It's been discovered that Fei Long has an infinite combo loop in Street Fighter 4 — but hold your horses, it only works against Seth and Abel.

As you can see from the video, you do a Standing Hard Punch and Cancel into a Flying Kick and repeat.

The timing on the Standing Hard Punch after Fei's Flying Kick is difficult for some players because it's a Link, so don't expect to see everyone doing this online, but highly skilled players shouldn't have a difficult time with this one.

Update: Also ET brought up a good point in the comments. SFIV has major damage reduction and after about 20 or so hits, this combo does almost no damage. Still can be abused, but it's something to keep in mind.

Ha. Was El Fuerte's ever confirmed? If so, was it removed for consoles?

I'm sure we'll see patches to this in any case. I'm just glad I don't play Seth or Abel. Not that you'll fight anyone other than Ken online, anyway...

Hey hey, I play abel online. He's my main. but yea i agree, only see kens online

El Fuerte's is confirmed, it was not removed due to it being rather difficult to pull off. In fact, I believe that the trial mode actually shows you how to do Fuerte's infinite.

El Fuerte's Hard Trial Challenge Lv5 is actually his infinite loop. However, it's really freaking hard to pull off, and you're opponent needs to be pretty much asking for it. This loop however... it's pretty easy to continue to do the same two attacks over and over again, unlike Fuerte which requires a load of different motions and button presses going off at once.

We live in the day of DLC however. It would be lovely if this was patched. I say this even though I play Fei Long myself.

I read about this earlier (I think) on SRK.
What's not mentioned is that after an X number of hits, the combo does almost zero damage. The combo itself can be continued, but it doesn't really do any more damage. It's hard to see from the movie, but if you were to start with a full energy bar, you'd see it.

I'm just glad that it's not a KEN infinite combo. THAT would be nasty, since everyone and their mothers choose Ken. Specially if you go online, he's pretty much all you'll face in 90% of the matches.

Beeing Fei Longe, it's not that bad.

Even Abel beeing my #2 char (Cammy is my #1), I'm not at all concerned about it. If it's not a shoto, it means I probably won't face in a local championship or something like that.

There is another video up on youtube demonstrating the combo from a full bar and what ET said is in fact true. After about 20 or so hits, theres no damage, and even if you stun him and go into it again, you'll still get no damage. A very pesky combo for Fei Long players who want to piss off abel or seth players online.

This is pretty old news. I posted this information nearly a month ago on this site.

Hm, i played online and saw only sagat or blanka, why you all say its ken only ?? thats not true

No, it's true. Kens as far as the eye can see. The only way I can get it through their heads to stop reusing the Ryu clone over and over is by picking the aryan little sucker myself and I taunt over and over through a battle. They either get the picture and pick a reputable character or run off whining, "noob this and noob that". Not in a ranked match of course. I'll just Zangief then.

online is full of Kens, bad ones too...they all spam his DP and i just punish them with my buffalo butt.

i think the lariet spamming giefs are worse than the 60billion kens.

I disagree about the millions of Kens.. I play online nearly every night and I've come across everyone, and I think the Akuma (and Ryu, but mainly Akuma) fireball spammers are the most annoying. but yeah most Ken players are bad, but the Ryu and Akuma ones are generally worse.. imo, the lariet spamming Zangoofs aren't too bad, because they're generally pretty easy to own.. i'm having trouble with El Fuerte's HARD trial no. 5 (trying to get platinum trophy) has anyone here done it or know how to do it?

4300 battle points and kens are still spamming magic uppercuts with no recovery time...ryus still spamming hadoukens only to get you to jump so they can uppercut and then do their super...the easiest-cheasiest chain in the game.

Akuma runs and throws hadoukens only...no technique. And this is in the 4300 battle point range.

Personally I get my best matches from blankas, abels, vegas...

We all know what sagat does. I just expect more from higher level players...

I use Guile and still win...if I was a smidge stronger or even close to street fighter 2 strength non of those startegies would piss me off...because one of my offensives could destroy them. But now it would take 3 of those offensives and hadouken spam gets tiring and causes gaming fatigue when you are genuinely trying to be aggressive and attack the fleeing opponent.

Guile can still win though. if you use him right. and even if you use him right you will still lose cus flash kick will fail you and hadouken spam will wear you down. Stay mentally tough and take victories away from these scrubs or at least make em fight.
