On the official Capcom-Unity Twitter they stated:
MvC2 is not actually coming out on June 29, sorry guys. Not sure where that rumor came from, but it's going to be closer to the end of July.
While this isn't a for sure statement that it will hit in late July — it could be early August — we'll at least see the release of the game very soon.
Kudos to Knuckles for the heads up on this.
