Capcom to get a lot of TE sticks, 'surprise' coming
Those of you who pre-ordered a Mad Catz stick for Capcom should be receiving it soon, according to this update from Christian Svensson.
Sven: OK... here's the latest... did some digging.
All of the sticks we'd ordered (a LOT... more than 20 palletes worth) should have hit our Digital River warehouse early last week, and then they should have been subsequently all shipped out and addressed ALL of our back orders this week.
Unfortunately, the sticks were shipped to the wrong warehouse (they went to the Capcom warehouse, not the DR warehouse), so they won't be hitting the RIGHT warehouse until this Friday (yesterday).
I am expecting ALL Capcom Store preorders for all TE sticks to be met in this shipment and shipped out next week. We will have a FEW extras too and we're ordering more on top of those (we'll have a few extra surprises to talk about in a couple weeks on that front).
When we figured out how many above and beyond our pre-orders we have, we will be turning them BACK ON in the Capcom store. Expect a blog post from Darin to share that news when it happens. For what its worth we will also be getting SE sticks and pads in stock too (though in much smaller volumes).
Again guys, apologies for the extra delay and thanks again for your patience.
Christian mentions some kind of surprise related to the Tournament Edition sticks, but there's been nothing mentioned to date as to what this would be. But as soon as something comes up, we'll keep you posted here.
Also, if you're looking to customize your FightStick a bit, Saraphan80 on the EventHubs forums found a website that offers plexi-covers and artwork print & cut services to make things a little easier on you.
And finally, the GameShark Store is offering XBox 360 Tournament Edition sticks for $200. While it's a bit over the suggested retail price, it includes a bundle with a wall scroll, faceplates and console skinz. Kudos to Cid for pointing this out.

Maybe the surprise will be SF4Wii?

The surprise will be MvC2 or TvC branded sticks all they have to do is redo the artwork really.
SF4 Wii is probably not going to happen but not impossible though they might look at the sales of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom as inspiration for a SF4

I can't remember if it was Svenson or S-Kill that I spoke with on the Capcom forum but they assured me that if there were demand that the MvsC2 sticks could still happen as long as there was demand. The thread then received one reply after another vowing to buy them if they come to market.
So my guess is firmly with the MvsC2 sticks.

I just recieved my SE in the mail and what a bummer its defective! Holding DB or DF gets stuck in that position for a second even when stick is in neutral.I thought they fixed this with the new shipment?

Noob Question: Isn't the 'Home' button on the ps3 TE stick supposed to work like the ps3 controller? I am able to shut of the system, but if I want to turn on later it doesn't respond. I have to use the ps3 controller to turn it back on...or the console itself.

No, the button won't power the PS3 on either. I guess this might have to do with the requirement of using a wired-only controller (no blutooth or battery).

Without power or a battery in the controller, you cannot send the signals to an unpowered system. Your controller won't charge itself when the system is off for instance.
