Sven hints at Street Fighter IV on the Wii?
While this is definitely venturing into the realm of speculation, Capcom V.P. Christian Svensson's recent reply on if Street Fighter IV would ever be released for the Wii seems to hint at the game coming out in the future.
Here's his comment from the Capcom Forums.
So we're never going to see Street Fighter IV for the Wii? — John
Sven: Never is such a long time. Beyond that, I have nothing to add right now.
This is interesting, because it wasn't that long ago that Capcom announced they were going to bring nine new games to the Wii before April 2010, including 'major' titles.
While most of these 9 games have already been announced — one of which was Tatsunoko vs. Capcom's U.S. release — there's still a few spots for other titles to come out.
This certainly isn't a concrete statement about the game, but it may be a hint that Capcom is planning a Wii release for Street Fighter 4.

it'd be nice to see the wii owners get in on the act but to be honest they said tatsundo vs capcom would "never" come to xbl or psn.

wow... capcom is a subtle as ever. i'd be nice to see this on the wii, i guess. the arcade stick for it is relatively easy to find (for me, anyways)
But, think of all the friend-code trading you'd have to do o_O

I'd definitely buy TvC for 360. Hopefully it someday makes it's way from Wii to 360 :o

TvC is a 4.5 gb game why would you guys want it on PSN/XBL?
It's better to get it on disc than digital format. Besides most games are only 6.5 gb max.

Considering that SF4 online play is a joke and an insult to the game, the lack of online support on the Piss-Named Console for Your Mom is not that big of a deal.

I played the arcade version yesterday and seems to lack the graphical "gloss" of the console versions and considering the PC version, the graphics do seem scalable.

To be honest, I am very surprised at how well TvC runs on the Wii aside from the slowdowns during supers. Also, since I recently softmodded my Wii, I am game for any new Wii titles :). I buy em if their worth it! Otherwise... play and toss baby.

i think it would be cool if they did a port ... even if its not up to snuff graphically , or online , there are ALOT of kids out there whos parents cant afford a 360 or PS3 and a Wii ...why shouldnt they get the street fighter love too ?
I have 3 kids , and I am raising them to jam on street fighter no matter WHAT system it is on :)
*although the part about wii waggle controls for zangief did make me chuckle :) haha ... f*ckin lariats i tell ya !

I don't want SFIV on the Wii. The game is out on PS3 and 360 and it is coming out on the PC. If someone wants to play it they already own it or are about to own it.
Give Wii something else. Bring back Darkstalkers on the Wii, I would bust a nut if that was announced.
Wii haters feeling a little inadequate for some reason? Kind of sad people need to attack an object to feel better about themselves.

I wish it could be released on PSP, having SFIV anywhere would be mindblowing, and if they can do it on the Wii, technically it can be done in PSP, even more now that full games like Soul Calibur IV and Tekken 6 are coming for it too.

SFIV on psp would def. be the SHIZ ! ... except for the controls ... psp d-pad for the lose.
I wish they could make it so you could plug in a USB controller into the mini usb port on top of PSP though ...
i would take that , and my joystick ERVRYWHERE !
