GamaSutra.com posted a story today with the video game sales numbers for the first half of 2009, and Street Fighter IV made the list — twice. Both the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 versions were in the top 5. Here's how the list looked.

With this kind of success, a follow up at some point is basically guaranteed. But one also has to wonder with these kinds of numbers — if we won't see a lot of other fighting games start hitting shelves.
