There are more plans for the PC version of Street Fighter IV in the future to boost sales, according to Capcom's Christian Svensson, but even so the early outlook is a positive one according to a recent post he made on the Capcom Forums.Can you play a pirated version of PC SFIV online or save your progress? Also, how have the sales been so far for the game?
Sven: A pirated version won't authenticate on Games For Windows Live and thus you can't save your game/progress or play online/hit a leaderboard. At best, the pirated versions are very fully featured demos. 8)
I won't comment on sales other than to say I'm cautiously encouraged by the early support and I have some interesting plans in the coming months that I think will make these numbers and the PC community even better.
Anybody with 999999999999 on the Street Fighter IV leaderboards right now is cheating and should get banned. It's harsh but an important lesson to learn. — ViciousXUSMC
