A digital downloaded game should be much cheaper like at the most $25. Capcom is making bigs bucks with creating alot of hype. They dont even allow game save backups for consoles. Id say what 5% of everyone serious playing SF actually make money from tournaments if less. Many are dedicated buying sticks and spending hours upon hours playing online which is a joke. Arcade play really levels you up and that can get really expensive at .50 -$1 per game. Capcoms is taking advantage of people without them knowing it.

Lower prices would create a rift with the retail channel. No publisher wants that.
Also since when should playing a game be about 'making' money?

I agree, most people think think they have a chance at becoming a pro, making money. Why would so many sticks sell out so fast? Its stressed that only pros use them. Capcom is money hungry, they dont care about the consumer, just getting as much cash as possible.

Initial reports on SRK from people in Europe who already have the PC version are... not inspiring. Might want to wait for reviews.
