To kick off the new year, several people are holding tournaments in the fighting game community. Here's what's happening.
• Denville, New Jersey: PowerPlayGaming SFIV Tournament, January 3rd. Console Warzone competition that will have a live stream of the festivities.
• Alexandria, Virginia: MaGFest 8, GPX Tournaments, January 1 - 4th. This is a gaming and music festival, which will also be hosting a handful of fighting game tournaments.
• Chicago, Illinois: Frosty Faustings II, January 2nd. SF4, MvC2, SSF2T HDR, and SF3 3s competitions along with other games. Not sure if there will be a live stream at this point, but videos should be posted after wards.
• Columbia, South Carolina: Street Fighter 4 S1 Ranbats, January 2nd.
• Nashville, Tennessee: Street Fighter IV Singles + Doubles Tournament, January 2nd.
• Walled Lake, Michigan: Roseballed Lake SF4 Tournament, January 3rd.
• Cincinnati, Ohio: Arcade Legends Ranking Battles Season 2, January 2nd.
• New Orleans, Louisiana: Street Fighter IV Ranbat, January 2nd.
