Updated: New SSF4 stages, Shiozawa Q&A session
The Japanese Super Street Fighter 4 blog has received a huge update with screen shots showing new stages, artwork and a giant question and answer session.
Azrael has once again spent his own time to provide an excellent translation for the community, converting this HUGE post to English.
Here it is.
Hello everyone.
The festive Christmas atmosphere is starting to pick up around town. Personally, a lot of games and moves that I've been looking forward to are coming out in succession... But no matter how cute the little Chocobo is, now we gotta focus on Super Street Fighter 4! The development staff has been pouring their blood and sweat into the project, so what once seemed like a distant goal is now within our sights! We'll give it our all for the final push!
Well then! Today we're bringing back the "Q&A Series"! If we count from Street Fighter 4, this would be the 9th entry.
This series is like using up 3 bars of super meter. The choice of questions and opinions to be addressed is left up to me - but I'll try to answer as many questions as I can the best that I can! Let's get to it!
Q: Yes! A continuation of Street Fighter 4! Sweet! I love the Street Fighter 4 staff, Lil' Ono, and Nakky as well! I could hug you all to death! I'm looking forward to Super Street Fighter 4!

Q: The blog's banner is pretty cool. Modeled after the new character Juri. Could it be that that's you?
A: Could it be...! I often said to Lil' Ono and the dev staff "Taekwondo is pretty fun... but up until now there's been no taekwondo characters in Street Fighter... I wonder why...?"
Q: What's going on with the character balance in Super Street Fighter 4?
A: We're giving it our all with character balance! Not just the new characters, but the 25 from Street Fighter 4 as well!
Q: As I'm a player from the Street Fighter 2 era, just looking at the title makes me feel all nostalgic!
A: Yes! As we made the title logo with Super Street Fighter 2 in mind, for you to say that makes me happy!
Q: Ah, I'm a little late, but I've finally made it to the Super Street Fighter 4 party! As Ono kept saying "Dash" I was looking for "Street Fighter 4 Dash" and almost missed this site on the net!

A: At the developers site, Juri's hair is often called "Cow Horn Hair". And you love my site... and with two stars to boot... I'm deeply moved!

Q: No matter what happens, I'll accept it, but - for online battles, if we could make a room, have several people enter, and then they can watch the fight as they wait their turn, that would be great.

Q: Please make the character themes for everyone from Street Fighter 2.
A: Heh heh heh. Thanks to everyone's passionate requests, all character themes will be present in Super Street Fighter 4. (This is the biggest announcement of today's blog) You may have noticed that Balrog and Vega didn't have themes in Street Fighter 4, but this time we've got everyone covered with cool remixes of their themes!
Q: I'd like to see some blood when Vega uses his claws or Blanka bites.
A: Blood! Yes, that would definitely make things interesting. But if we did that, it would make our target audience a little older... We'd like for everyone to enjoy Super Street Fighter 4 regardless of age!
Q: Dudley's gonna be in this, right? I really want him in! ... I wanna throw the rose (laughs)
A: Throwing the rose is a part of Dudley's identity isn't it. Right now, I can't say if he will be in or not. But I understand how you feel about wanting to throw the rose.
Q: I was relieved to hear you hadn't given up on an arcade version. It would be great if there was one! Get on it, developers!
A: We've heard your passionate requests for an arcade version loud and clear! Thank you very much! We'll do our best!
Q: The new character Juri... she's pretty cute! I really like her design! She's the best. I wanna see her in action!
A: Everyone loves Juri! She's a bit of an intense character, so while she might get your blood pumping a bit, if you think "I wanna use her" that makes me the most happy!

A: Hmm, right. We're giving you a nice shot of her in the above picture! But yeah, as you can see the shoulder straps and the chest looks like a tattoo. So the designers are working hard now to make it look more like cloth!
You can properly see the line of the clothes!
A: That's right! She has the "Feng Shui Engine" in her left eye, so whenever it gets going it lights up.
Q: Give Dhalsim a shoryuken.
A: ?! If we gave Sim a shoryuken, his arms would extend and he'd really launch the opponent. (So in some ways, it would be a real rising dragon...)
Q: Rose's hair is hard like a shell. Would it be possible to soften it up a bit?
A: It would be nice if she had soft flowy hair huh. But I believe she's using hair spray to harden it up. So her hair will stay the same in Super Street Fighter 4! ... Um... sorry about that...
Q: Please give us the ability to fight cross-platform between PS3 and 360!
A: Sorry! That's not something that we have any power over.
Q: The alternate costumes I bought for Street Fighter 4... I don't have to buy these again, right? They'll be in from the beginning?
A: They're not in from the beginning, but if you bought the alternate costumes for Street Fighter 4, you'll be able to download them for free!
Q: I'd like another character besides Vega who uses weapons.
A: Nope, I can't say a word!

A: We're not going to make her weak, so don't worry. But, I would like it if you tried out Juri once!

A: Heh heh, to be honest with you Ono doesn't drink alcohol. He has ginger ale, and I like umeshu on the rocks!
Q: Excuse my bluntness, but the Yoga Tower is awesome! I think it has infinite possibilities!
A: You are pretty blunt. But the dev staff as well as Capcom staff, when they first saw the Yoga Tower they were like "What is that?!" Work hard to bring out those infinite possibilities!
A: For after the fight... we don't have anything for that. Sorry. But for before the fight! There are some preset comments you can choose from to display in the lobby.
Q: Reading everyone's comments every week and giving us important information... I think you must be pretty tired. Please take care of yourself.
A: Thank you very much. But, thanks to everyone, I came to be a director for Street Fighter 4 and Super Street Fighter 4, and I have a lot of joyous memories, so I'm doing just fine!
A: That was when I showed you the character select image, right? I showed you 2 patterns, and then we took in everyone's advice and the following week brushed it up to the final version, which everyone liked! The designer in charge ran a little over schedule but he got it done!
Q: I heard that at first, Juri was supposed to be a bit more of a well-rounded woman, but I guess its a lot harder to change female models than male ones?
A: As its pretty difficult to change things once the model has been made, first adjustments are made through illustrations, and then the final image is decided on. Juri as well, once her image was decided through the illustrations then her model was made.

A: No problem! In fact, getting these requests helps us out a lot! "Please do this," or "I'd be nice if..." please continue to add these into the comments.
Q: I thought of a new move for Honda. The name is "Fundoshi Removal". It will increase his speed.
A: Uh... well, if we put that in, we'd be asking for it from the soccer moms...
Q: Ms. Shiozawa, go for that fight money. As for me, I'll be collecting titles.
A: I've been busy lately, so I haven't played Tekken (?) at all! But Taguchi, who you know from the dev blog, uses Xiaoyu. I haven't fought against him yet, but I will someday!
Q: There's no other official blog out there where such dedication and love is shown to the players. Thank you very much!

This is someone who Street Fighter 4 players should know pretty well!
A: This poster is pretty cool. Seeing all the warriors gathered together like that is an everlasting image. We had Ikeno draw it up not as a poster, but just for the sake of having it, but it was too cool not to make into a poster!
A: Hm? .... Holy crap, they are pretty long!
When looking at him together with Viper, Abel, and Fuerte, what you said is accurate. That's gotta be Super Rufus. He can definitely beat Ken now.
A: In Super Street Fighter 4 all characters will be unlocked from the start! The character select screen is now really something else!
Q: If you can pull this off it will be the pinnacle of online fighting games. Good luck with debugging! The Street Fighter 4 staff, always striving for the best, is really cool!

Q: Are the bonus stages accessed through the Challenge Mode? I'd like to be able to play them while waiting in the arcade.
A: Whoops, we missed this! Sorry! You won't be able to select them in the Challenge Mode at first, but after beating Arcade Mode then they will become available through Challenge Mode.
A: Wow! That would be pretty interesting! But, as we thought of the bonus stages as something for a single player, unfortunately those options aren't available.
Q: No matter how many times I fight him, I always hear Sagat say "The Emperor can be defeated!" What he really means to say is "The Emperor can't be defeated!" right?
A: Yes, he's saying "The Emperor can't be defeated"!

A: Hmm... its possible that they will only be used on the official site. Depending on the voice, some may be used in the game, but as for Ken's "I love you Eliza!" I think that is not used in the game. Probably.
Q: I'd like for the rankings to be done separately by character Battle Points.

A: Towards the car.

Q: Come to think of it, how about Santa costumes for the Street Fighter 4 characters? Out of the Street Fighter 4 cast, it'd look the best on Gouken wouldn't it?
A: Look good on him... no, he would be Santa! If we put a Santa costume on Gouken, then his nationality would change to Finland...

A: First off, we have Guy!

A: Really sorry to those who hate having to hit 3 buttons for the ultra, but in Super Street Fighter 4 as well, ultras are activated by pressing 3 buttons.
Q: On T. Hawk's profile, his sizes are listed as bust 114 / waist 98 / hips 112, but really? Bust 114?
A: Wow, nice eye! Between ST and A3, there have been characters whose dimensions have changed (Ryu, Ken, Chun, Zangief, Bison, etc...) But in Street Fighter 4 we're going by the Street Fighter 2 settings, so 114 cm it is!

Will there be all new stages? Will some of the old stages remain?
How about BGM for all of the characters? (having it be stage-dependent would be fine)
A: The characters from Street Fighter 4 will use the same character select art, no change.
Stages from the original Street Fighter 4 will be ported over to Super Street Fighter 4. (We are making the volcano stage a bit less red though!).
Also, we are making specific BGM for all characters!
Q: Will there be new alternate costumers in Super Street Fighter 4?
A: Just wait for more info! ... Is what I'd like to say, so cut me a little slack here!
Q: Is Rufus's fighting style self-taught Kung-Fu, or mistaken karate?
A: Sorry that this is a bit confusing! According to his character setting, its neither karate or kung-fu. As he watched martial arts movies, he came to put his own spin on moves, so its either karate or kung-fu, but his own style.
A: I also love the rival battles! During the development of Street Fighter 4 I really looked forward to their implementation. Right now I can't really say anything, but if we're talking about Ryu's rival, of course that would be Ken!
Q: The movement of Cody's chains and the sounds they make are very realistic.
A: Endo, who loves sound effects more than eating three times a day, will be happy to hear that! Endo always gathers the real items from which to make the sound effects, so it takes a lot of work just to record one effect!
A: Heh heh heh... nice catch. I'm planning to tell you more about the new stages on Dec. 18th, so wait a little while until then!
Q: Guy... Guy's just too cool for words!
A: Yeah, this time Guy has really exceeded expectations as a good-looking guy. But, since he does set up those barrels by himself... that's quite a reduction of cool points...
Q: The kunai heading towards Guy... is that... Ibuki?! Or... Geki?!
A: Ho ho ho. I can't say anything. But just wait a little while longer! However, Geki doesn't throw kunais, rather he throws shurikens!
A: Since the Street Fighters are all pretty unrefined, maybe one day we'll have a cool Italian character such as that. If they do make him, I hope he likes squid ink pasta!
Q: Will Super Street Fighter 4 be sold as a add-on disc for those who already have Street Fighter 4?
A: No, we have no plays for that at this time. Super Street Fighter 4 is being built from the ground up, so you have no need for an add-on disc (so its like the engineers are making a brand new game!)
Q: If you got in trouble for hinting at Cody back in June, does that mean that the new characters had already been decided at that time?
A: Nope, not at all. At that time, everyone was still debating over it.
Q: Will there be any objects in the background that can be broken, like barrels or boxes?
A: Unfortunately, we have no plans for that.
Q: When I asked my mom to buy me Street Fighter 4, she said "There's gonna be an update, so just wait for that." So yesterday, I asked her to buy Super Street Fighter 4, and she said "They're gonna make an update to that as well, so just wait for that." So... is there going to be another update?
A: Wow... I feel bad for you. Regarding continuations... honestly, its impossible to say until its actually been decided on, and at this point in time we have no plans, so I don't there will be anything for awhile. (At least, I hope not!) So, please show this blog to your mom so she can buy it for you. Super Street Fighter 4 has enough in it so that we really could call it Street Fighter 5. So mom, even if you don't want to please buy it!
Q: I'd like for you to be able to make adjustments to the characters and the game even after it goes on sale.
A: Hmm, you mean patches, right? I'm still not really sure, but one thing we worry about are those without network setups. This is only a what-if scenario, but suppose we did make an arcade version - so there'd be some rough spots between those players who did get the patch and those who didn't. We're a little worried about that kind of thing...
Q: It seems like there's been some change to the Revenge Gauge in Super Street Fighter 4?
A: There is, there is.
The name of the move is now displayed! According to Nokato, the text above Adon's Ultra meter here translates to 'Jaguar Revolver'.
A: Yep, it was too strong for me too. So in Super Street Fighter 4 we are making some adjustments to that.
Q: How about a demo as a Christmas present?
A: Sorry! As Street Fighter 4 didn't have a demo, there are also no plans for a Super Street Fighter 4 demo.
Q: Real street fighters use their surroundings in the fight. It'd be nice if characters could do this instead of just having their moves.
A: I see... that would be an interesting game! However, if we did that, then it wouldn't really be Street Fighter. It'd turn into a different game.
Q: This is a little extreme, but I'd like for a system where if you push one button at the right time, you get a specific combo.
A: Hmm... that would be great for beginners! You'd get more courage out of that. But, as it says on the Street Fighter 4 poster, "Practice hard and develop your skills" is the basis of this series, so work hard and become stronger!
Q: On the car bonus stage, after wrecking it will the car owner come out and say "Oh my God!" or "Oh my car!"
A: When it was first developed, either the SIN member or the car's owner would come out at random. But if we are destroying cars that someone owns, then it gives off the image of doing something bad. There was a lot of consideration put into it, but ultimately it was decided to leave this out. Sorry!

A: There are no plans for either at this time. I have heard nothing about it. But it would be nice...
Q: Guy is American?
A: In Final Fight he was Japanese, but in Alpha 3 he became American. As the Guy in Super Street Fighter 4 is based on A3, Super Street Fighter 4 Guy is also representing America!
A: 3S characters... I can't really say anything about that. We've definitely heard a lot of clamor over them. Regarding the existing characters, we've been adjusting them! But when you tweak one character, then you have to look at the balance for all of them, so its a bit difficult.
Q: Can you at least tell us if there aren't going to be any more characters from Alpha?
A: Hmm... well... Sorry!
Q: Will there be any special features for Street Fighter 4 included in Super Street Fighter 4?
A: We are currently discussing this internally. Please look forward to it!

A: I can't tell you how many completely unknown surprises there are!
Q: The voice for the announcer that you hear at the character select and at the beginning and during the round seems to have changed. Is it the same voice from the Street Fighter 4 loketests?
A: Yes! The voice for all of the narration has been changed. We thought we'd change it up to give the sound guy, Endo, a real surprise when he played. The "Street Fighter 4 loketest guy" is the localization lead for Street Fighter 4 as well as Super Street Fighter 4, Debito!
Q: Will Super Street Fighter 4 be able to run at 1080p?
A: No.
Q: "When we get home, stop playing games! If you've got that much free time, at least be a Dad and help out around the house!" I tried explaining that games are like sports or shogi and require a high level of skill, but...
A: Oh.. ah... I agree with you. We'll work hard trying to get an arcade version out there!
Q: Will there be a PC version?
A: Undecided.
Q: Will Abel be in the game!
A: Huh? Of course he is! All characters from Street Fighter 4 will be in the game!
A: Eh... That's pretty difficult. If you want to practice, you have to be able to do so on a version that's not inferior to the arcade. More than technical issues, that's what I'm concerned about.

For characters the rumor list could be correct but it also claimed super will be out for arcades a few months before 360 & Ps3 and we all know that was wrong.

Although its blurred, the image of Hakan looks strangely similar to Elena, at least in color scheme. He's got the dark skin and the white hair. Maybe the africa stage is for him?

A good stage to include in this game would be Sagat's Thailand stage from Street Fighter Alpha 2. Ive seen concept art from the first game so I really do hope you guys have this stage come into fruition. But a stage that i would really like to see, would be the secret Australia and Venezuela stages from Street Fighter Alpha 2 (PSX). Those stages are pretty epic.....plz?

Damn Elena was pretty lame IMO.
Just wishing makoto is in...But it's looking like it's not going to happen a little more everyday. Maybe Hakan is african, who knows....I'll pray for that, Makoto > elena in every way... and no way they would add 3 girls, it wouldn't fit the sausage fest on steroids concept of SFIV

The new stages are all very bright and lively. As for why Capcom is showing a kunai in most of their new screenshots, I'm thinking it's not Ibuki but rather, a similar character related to Ibuki maybe?

It's not really a problem if it's right or wrong sometimes the real issue is people claiming the rumor list is gospil and jumping at the chance to scream confirm at anything it posted. The list hes managed to positively claim 3 characters so far, and we already knew Dee-Jay and T.Hawk were in before the list. That on it's own does not warrent blind faith in something. Their are still so many thing we have yet to descover about the game having a list of possible ideas is great but it's not th bible. %)

Hakan is tossed out, and Capcom will instead bring a Gunlance-wielding Monster Hunter character. It's the only way to explain the size of the hippo.
I'm so glad there's a Korea stage, but it doesn't seem fitting to Juri's character, does it? An urban city with crowd's shouting? :\ Oh well, at least there's sideboob.

The rumor list came out months before SSF4 was announced, and so far all the chars announced for SSF4 where on the rumor list. The list was even spot on with describing Juri, a new character who works for Seth.
If you still don't get it, then I'll put it in simpler terms. If the roster was decided early, that means it's not going to change. If all of the confirmed characters were on the rumors list, that means that the rumors list is reliable.

Let's just say that the rumor list got T-Hawk, Dee Jay, Adon, Cody and Guy by chance. How is it possible that the rumor's list says that Juri is confirmed and even describes the character, and everything it mentions is true? She's a new character. The list even got her name right. It would be impossible for someone to guess that. The only way it makes sense is if they got some insight on the game beforehand and leaked it on the internet.

@70/66 Anyway I am a SF player who will most likely pick up this game, will play the hell out of it until it becomes stale(everyone picking 3 to 5 characters and doing everything they saw online or at turnies) or I can't or the next one comes out. I play 3S every once in a while, I am an Ibuki player(I also play Sean and Urien). I play SF4 and enjoy Abel and El Furete along with C Viper, Gen ,seth and fei long(anytime I'm up against a ken). I just don't want Ibuki back cause it feels out of place and Ibuki's moves have too slow of a start up and too obivious to read

His point is that the rumor list could be only partially right, even intentionally. It could get the first half of the characters right to build confidence, then suddenly get everything else wrong, just as news start to be actually interesting.
For all we know, it's already wrong in certain aspects, like simultaneous ultras.

It was an impressive call getting Juri correct when she never existed before. So far the list has been very good when anouncing new chacacters 6 for 6 as it stands right now. But as for the game itself coming out on arcades first, multi hitting/phase focus attacks, ultras like siberian blizzard and Yoga Shangrilai ar still not out thier. We also don't know how this rumor list was obtained so we have no proof about how far into character develpoment it came from. Dudley, Ibuki, And Makoto were in very high demand as additional characters but the information we have now does not actually prove their in the game. We need to try and stay objective and remember the list just came out of no where and has only a guideline of potential additions.

u guys still don't get what xD is trying to say. The list had already been proven to be an accurate account of capcoms plans during that time period the moment capcom announced juri. And since capcom pllans to stick with the list created during that time period the only thing left to see really is if capcom can complete its plans and add all the chars on the list.

exactly, if mofos would use their pea brains and apply some logic they might figure this out. not only was the list spot on with the Alpha chars plus probably Ibuki so far, which could have been a lot of great guesses.
but the fact that it gave the name Juri and described her way before Capcom revealed her publicly shows that the list was made by someone who knew their stuff. no one could have just "guessed" exactly about what and who a brand new character would be. No way that was a coincidence. Anyone denying the rumor list is a terrible troll job.

Damn everyone is in such a fuss. I think Capcom reads more of these message boards than we know an are trying to keep people guessing. Maybe like I said before Ono is going to bust his butt and his teams butts till they get more characters. So far the leaked sheet got one thing wrong! One thing that could have been changed after the sheet was released or could have been changed way before. Don't get too worked up, the stages do look nice that is for sure.

The rumor list qoute I have for Juri was "Juri - Evil Asian girl fighter working for Seth."that means whoever made the list was able to see that Juri was being made(weather concept sketches or in game model) and gonna work for seth however they didn't know she would be a TKD user, she would be from South Korea just that she would be named Juri, she would be an asian fighter and that she'd be working for seth. which sounds like beginning sketch stages stuff when whoever made that list found out.

the list is probably right on characters, because like people said, they were probably determined early and it would take too long to switch them up now.
Concerning the technical stuff... the game content is subject to change. Whatever the leaker said was what they were going for at the time, and Capcom probably changed it a lot at this point. We even know that Cody doesn't have his alpha counter anymore but from the development blogs we know he had it at that point. Technically this is another area where the list was right even if it's wrong about how it turned out in the end. But it shows development was already very far in concerning character testing and balance and all the characters probably have models at this point.
tldr: characters are going to be the same, other stuff might not

Yes that is what I have been saying. The list is way old. So old in fact that there could have been changes. Ono has been working on this a long time and I am happy with what ever amount of characters make it in. I think Capcom employee's are stepping back and watching as everyone freaks out and go's nuts. I would like to think that there is more to this game that they are keeping hidden. I would not be surprised if they have 12 characters ready to go. I remember people asking about SF4 how many characters will you add for the home version? Then they just kept popping up and it seemed like they never stopped all the way up till Sony vs Microsoft vs Capcom. 4 months from now all will be revealed and this will be water under the bridge.

Instead of people argueing about a rumor list, or how many characters will be in the game, people need to worry about balance. Its gonna be pretty lame when we have 30 plus fighters on the select screen but only a handful of them are truely competitive and used. All the character which were shown were on the list and th at is the part of the list which was 100% so far, so you have no reason to believe that it is wrong because that part has been 100% right? Understand me?
Plus Ono NEVER said there would be ONLY 8 new characters to the game be he said there would be around. The reason why he would not go out and say there are 10 new characters is because as they have said they do not want to go around saying something but because of time be limited to only making part of what they say, it does not look good for them to do that.

For a turtler to be effective he must have good reactions. For a spammer to be effective the guy he's fighting must have bad reactions. If you want to beat a turtler just throw a ton of safe things he can't react to and force him to guess then punish. To beat a spammer just wait and punish.

#133 i suppose if the other player is content with just sitting and trying to block everything and they had amazing reactions the could block and tech everything you throw at them but a turtler would at some point have to attack to try and win the match and the thing about turtlers is most of them aren't great at active fighting where they have to create holes so you have the advantage the moment they are forced to attack. Just take what you can get until they fight back. I agree though spammers are much easier to fight.

Yeah the rumored character list has been pretty scaringly accurate unfortunately. however it also said that both ultras can be used at any time with ultra meter. From what it appears so far, it looks like 1 ultra at a time. I really hope we get more classic looking stages confirmed the new ones are very nice but I want some noststalgia. No character specifics is a huge let down in my opinion esspecially since that was or at least it seemed to be the main complaint about SFIV.

SSFIV is still going to be a slow boring turtle infested game and its going to become stale in a few weeks because all people will do is block and turtle till time runs out. So what if they added brand new stages and characters its still going to be a slow boring crap of a game like SFIV. Third Strike was way better. I'm only going to rent it and if the gameplay is still slow and boring and turtley then I'm not going to waste my money. SF needs to get with the times and add a run button jeez is it that hard? For anyone curious about the image of Dan, we have good reason to believe those legs in the background belong to Sagat. If you look closely you can see his face attached to the dummy's head with "AHO" or "IDIOT" written on the chest.

The Africa Stage is really beautiful. I do hope they add more stages so you have a selection. I would be nice if they allowed the characters to move around the stages verses from one corner to the other (gives you more flexibility and open to attacks)
I can stay that the Stage of Africa reminds of Elena(represent Africa =^D). I would be nice to have her in there along with Ibuki, Dudley, and Makoto. Some are saying not another kicking fighter? Isn't Dudley all punches? So what would be the difference if there's two punchers and two kickers? Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Sakura, and Dan have similar fighting styles right? Both can be used. Also I believe it is Ibuki with the kunai. It would be nice to see those characters in the game and if not, make them add ons as a character package or next street fighter game.
Hopefully this will not be the last of the Street Fighter IV series and do have Elena, Ibuki, and Dudley in them. New characters are great, but never forget the ones before them. You see the have your Street Fighter II and Super Street Fighter II characters. Why not add the Street Fighter III characters as well? Give them all a shine in the spotlight

OK! Well what did I just walk into? I have heard people saying they see Sagat's feet in Dan's picture. I think a better story would be that Adon and Dan are training together after Sagat beat up Adon and KILLED Dan's dad. Those have got to be Adon's feet. Another thing that was focused in on but no one has said anything is the name of move or ultra displayed at the bottom of the screen. That means to me that the choose your ultra could be making it's way back or maybe you can switch during game play? It's just a visual of what your enemy is going to give you. I don't know but it makes me scared.

Even if it had the option to turn it off the game would still have an older rating on it which some parents take into consideration when buying their children games. Capcom wants it to be available to as wide an audience as possible so not having blood in it would only help the game do better.And no this games isn't only made for "HARDCORE PLAYERS". I don't know what gave you that idea. And FADC is not necessary to use for most of the cast, most of the time you use it the scaling makes it barely worth using 2 bars for it. On the other hand if parrying was in the game it would be much more critical to learn and imo it is a lot harder to learn than FADC, because you use it the same no matter who you fight where as parrying you have to know the game a lot more in depth to use it efficiently.

Can some one do a close up of sakura's screen shot so we can See if thats a 2 on her super meter.
Im sure its there but a bigger picture would help and compare it to Adons because his bar is completely black after EX but Sakura's is a bit transparent and so is the 2.
Cant wait for Ibuki and where her 3rd strike guide its been like a year or 2 since i asked about it and still nothing come on eventhubs.

Even with sakura second super most likely it would not have a 2 there, she would most likely be able to use either in the match and not have to pick. Either that or it would be paired along with an ultra. So no i don't think there is a 2 there, your hope is making you see things lol.

I love the new stages.
I like how Capcom is adding a lot more people and animals into the stages brings a whole new sort of feel to each level and really defines it a lot more than before great job.

It says Combo because T. Hawk does not have enough meter to do an EX move. It says the same thing when you have no EX meter in SFIV (I just played a match for confirmation).

march sounds far away but when u think about it its only 2 and a half months out. By jan most of the info should be out. Im just hopeing the dev team puts more focus on balanceing then just trying to cram alot of new stuff in like stages etc. I mean with 30 something characters in the game variety shouldnt be a problem, but atm all u see out of the current 25 is about 5 of them, and they all basicly play the same way.

That is much more mature than red pixels appearing out of bulging muscles, with no visible effects or bruising/etc. which is to say, blood doesn't make games realistic. Nor do games have to be realistic. And Street Fighter left realism way back @ SONIC BOOM! & HADOUKEN!
And shooter players need to keep their angry (im)mature selves in their own games. Though Capcom welcomes your money, Gamefly and Gamestop welcome your rent/trade in credit money too.
